Bar Tomate In Tropea

A charming place in the middle of the city, they serve excellent coffee and amazing desserts, impeccable service, I recommend it 😀

During our stay in Tropea, we had breakfast in a sandwich shop/bar in the heart of the city and the experience was extremely satisfying. The choice of savory breakfast is excellent The ingredients were fresh and the portions generous. For those who prefer a sweet breakfast, the bar offers a good variety of croissants and croissants... The only bad thing was my barley coffee, it had a burnt taste. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready and the service was quick. An excellent choice for those looking for a tasty and genuine breakfast in Tropea, both for savory and sweet lovers. A place to visit to start the day with energy and authentic flavors.

I went to this place almost by chance: I joined my relatives for a quick aperitif and in the end we all had lunch there: there were 9 of us! The gentleman who served us accommodated my eating problems by bringing me a gigantic and excellent sandwich (considering my various limitations). He also provided us with excellent suggestions for various places to dine and stay in the following days which turned out to be excellent. Thank you!

The place itself is nice, the staff are kind and friendly, you can also do lunch and dinner. We had a fruit salad and an avocado toast with egg, the prices were very high, I can understand that we are in a tourist city but 7 euros for a toast is too much, if you use industrial products such as supermarket bread, at this point you change the bread with quality bread. Then if you also want to offer a healthy aspect, fruit should be served in season. However the food is of quality

Place recommended by a local, I was there in the evening, I must say that the food is worth it and you can accompany it with well-made drinks, the service was good, the only observation, the attitude of the owner I think or manager I don't know, never a smile and a bit of arrogance.
