For us from the north, Naples is a thousand things, for me it's an obsession, I've wanted to go there for years, even before 2000. Naples, from a gastronomic point of view, is also coffee, famous throughout the world. Here I wanted to drink real "coffee", real Neapolitan coffee as I imagined it from having seen it in black and white films and having heard it told about it... coffee according to what is and remains a myth... coffee. I wanted a place at the top. They told me that this was the place where I would definitely get my wish. It wasn't like that, because it was a trip to paradise, the "Coffee Paradise". The cup was boiling... I drank the water both before and after (eresiaaaa you drink it first to "clean" the mouth, but if you want to remember the coffee and fix it in your mind, after drinking it, for me you have to "finish it" with water, because it leaves you with the desire to come back to drink it. I was impressed by the courtesy of the differently young gentleman who knows all his regular customers... the ritual of queuing in front of the cash register, because he leaves you too quickly. petrified in the choice of what to eat with the coffee and make you wait while the lady at the checkout smiles, not at all impatient. But let's talk about it, black, hot. Unfortunately I like it bitter, not sweet and I know... de gustibus restaurant reflects my rule, that of three... "three times, the first time you go and taste it, the second time you come back because you liked it, the third time you go because you know you will take it into your heart". ???? four mornings, two afternoons... total six coffees.... Judge for yourself why. Ah, I forgot... I usually don't like coffee...

The bartender Genny (the black sheep of the family) never stops talking about the cappuccinos and croissants he serves with consequent waste of saliva which inevitably settles on what is served... the cashier never issues a receipt, everything happens in tiny bar where you feel the other patrons breathing down your neck. It is strongly not recommended.

Excellent bar, good coffee, but absolutely worth trying is the puff pastry cream croissant, very soft, when you eat it it melts in your mouth

Everything is decent, even the brioche is good... prices are a little higher, it's a shame that it doesn't have tables for a relaxing breakfast
