In my opinion, and for my tastes, this is the best pizzeria in the entire area. The pizza is thin and the crust is crispy, just the way I like it, and the prices are fair—in fact, considering the location, they're the lowest for this area. Reservations are recommended because it's always busy. I was out for a walk around 6:30 PM and stopped to ask if they had a table for me, my partner, and the dog. They told me they'd leave a table outside when they opened. The staff was very friendly; they even brought us water for the dog without asking. I was just passing through and I'm glad I was able to eat here. We each had one pizza, plus a third that we split between the two of us.

At Rio, the pizza is thin, crustless, and you can choose from a variety of doughs (whole wheat, whole grain, etc.). The pizza is very good, the service is very fast, and the prices are fair. Reservations are recommended. We'll be happy to return.

Everything normal except the wonderful view

Ligurian-style pizza (not Neapolitan), thin with their own flavors but more interesting than many others. Covered outdoor seating. The Margherita is six euros, still a good price. Recommended!

I would never have thought that our cheap pizza could be so much better than most pizzerias in Italy, but in this place I have to admit that the pizza tastes better than most nearby, but in my opinion there is not enough toppings.

I've been a customer for several years, and the pizza has always been delicious. The waiters are also very professional, efficient, and patient. My only regret is that they no longer stock IPA beer. We're regulars every time we vacation in Loano, at least three or four times a year, and Pizzaria Rio Loano has become a regular stop for us and the best choice for pizza in the area. The variety of flours used for the dough is excellent (we love whole wheat!), and the quality is consistently top-notch. The place is always very popular, with both tourists and locals, which is no surprise given the selection. What always impresses us, however, is the customer service: despite the crowds, the staff and owners (who are fantastic!) always remember our names and preferences, a detail that really makes a difference and has impressed us greatly. We truly feel at home. Plus, the prices are great, and the beachfront location makes the experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, our favorite pizzeria in Loano!

The pizza was excellent, it's a shame about the long wait times but bearable.
