Bar Portapó In Agrigento

We had some very good granitas and ice cream, the guys who run it were kind and friendly! Thank you and see you soon from Venice!

While we were waiting for the rest of our group and our bus and after seeing the centre of Agrigento with a modern cylindrical post office, we spotted a pasticceria in the scenic park: the Bar Portapò! We went in to buy some famous Sicilian cannoli! They were delicious!

While it was raining heavily we stopped to ask the owner where we could buy an umbrella, he then kindly lent us his, even though he didn't know us and we didn't have one. still consumed at home. We found this really adorable! On the way back from our walk we obviously stopped to give it back and had some sandwiches which were very good.

Nice bar, reasonable prices (5 euros coffee and beer) terrace with (just about) views of sea.
