Bar Pitasi is a true institution in the village of Mosorrofa thanks to its excellent pastries, breakfast, top-notch coffee, and central location. It has always been the primary destination for many residents and neighbors throughout the day, from morning until late at night (always open!), where it's customary to stop by for a chat and a coffee at any time. The gelato and homemade brioches are excellent, the best combination of flavors and brioches in all of Reggio Calabria (try it and believe it). The pastiera they make during Easter is superb! And the biscuits they make with age-old mastery are also incredibly delicious, especially the vanilla ones, the piparelle, and the occhi bue. The traditional Sunday desserts are all delicious; the cannoli and the classic "pesca" are a real specialty! The made-to-order cakes are also excellent and in the classic Italian style of old-fashioned house parties, much loved by many. The owners' courtesy, friendliness, and kindness are five-star. The atmosphere is pleasantly reminiscent of old-fashioned bars. Highly recommended.
