What a find! A congenial, lively, family oriented bar in a beautiful setting, with surprisingly good, nutritious, and inventive food, run by the kindest people imaginable. This should be famous, with a line out front, and would be well well-worth the wait. Superb food, great people.

We were only in town a short while, and kind of stumbled into this place, but/and our experience there was one of the highlights of our 5 weeks in Italy. It is a very friendly, family, local atmosphere, with food that is exceptional and locally sourced, with such service -- even the other guests chipped in to help us with a little travel issue. The sandwiches we had were superb -- the bread whole grain, the locally organically grown pork was marvelous. We were even gifted a couple of little things just because the hard-working proprietors thought we'd appreciate them. It's a joy to discover such a gem of a place, so well-run, now by the bar's fourth generation.

Bar in my area... Changed both generationally and aesthetically over the years but always remaining special as a meeting place for young people and for those like me who have been frequenting it for years, even for a coffee it is always a pleasure to stop and have a laugh and a chat with the owners. In the end the Bar has this function of making you feel a bit at home. Strong point: parking, outdoor terrace with view, kindness, professionalism (experience) and cheerfulness.

01/04/2024: A good restaurant like those of the past. With 80s service and cooking technique. So it makes everyone agree. The typical cuisine of Alta Ciociaria (upper Frusinate) is traditionally simple, with ancient flavors but at the Bassetto Restaurant they have been able to combine ancient and modern with mastery and sobriety. At lunch, on Sunday or on the occasion of the holidays, you meet the historic families of the place and many friends and, above all, the owners know how to create a welcoming and familiar atmosphere, making everyone feel at ease with joy. Really quality cuisine. Typical dishes of this restaurant are the "fini-fini ciociari", their crèpes, meats, ice cream, trifle.
