This bar is my "trusted hub" for shipping, returns, and package pickups for my online purchases. I've even had the opportunity to grab a coffee or a dessert on a few occasions; the products are good, and the barista is truly friendly.
Unfortunately, we called to inquire about opening hours (just in time for New Year's Eve and January 1st) and a young male voice answered as if trying to mock me.
This also happened on Christmas Eve, so it's not the first time.
Inquiring about information, even during the holidays, is legitimate, and should be answered with more professionalism. However, there's probably someone in the bar—aside from the lady barista and the older man who handles the cash register and packages for the hub—who, instead of working, just wants to make fun of us.
It's a shame; I would have given it at least 4/5 stars, but a single unprofessional person ruins the work of a good business.
DO NOT CALL FOR INFORMATION, YOU RISK BEING FOOLED, ESPECIALLY DURING HOLIDAYS.
𝗠𝗶 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼:
"Dear customer, thank you for the review. I wanted to remind you that behind our work there are families and children who are seen little or nothing given the amount of hours we spend in the bar. Calling to ask for information about packages is unfair because, due to privacy and the extremely high volume of shipments arriving, we cannot even begin to process requests over the phone, given that our main activity is the bar. I find it even more unfair to call to ask if we are open on Christmas or January 1st for packages, given that, as already mentioned above, behind our work there are families and loved ones, and we need to show respect for the work and the people who work in the bar. Therefore, before leaving 1-star reviews and writing nonsense like this, count up to 10 and Think deeper than what he writes."
I'm not going to tell you what's happening
Asking about the business's opening hours, whether it's holidays or not, is legitimate. It doesn't matter if you're asking to pick up a package, or to find out if croissants are available, or if the lights are on. Asking for information is legitimate, even if it's New Year's Eve, and I believe you should respond professionally to a customer regardless. There was no argument or insistence on our part; we just wanted to know if you were open. I thought carefully before writing a review like this. I was disappointed by this behavior on the phone, but I reiterate that I appreciate the bar, what it offers, and the people who work there.
Finally, we didn't ask for anything that would affect the privacy of packages, the privacy of other customers, or the bar's business. So, I ask you to think twice before responding this way, because I believe it lacks any professionalism.

Kind and welcoming people, but at the same time, prepared and exhaustive for all the needs of the customer, who feels as if he were at home.
