I sent a nice tray of typical Sicilian desserts to my two friends, Verona and Turin. Arrived on time and in excellent condition, as well as delicious. We took the toasted almond nougat. Next time I'll be curious to try something savory!! 😋

One of the best bars in Sciacca, you can find a vast assortment of both desserts and snacks. The cucchitelle, a typical Saccense dessert in which they specialize, are delicious.

As throughout the wonderful island, unparalleled culinary treasures are hidden around every corner, Sciacca in this is no different from other cities in Sicily! I had never heard of "cucchitelle" in my life and yet one bite was enough for me to fall in love with it, especially the traditional one! I absolutely recommend anyone who is in the area (and not, they have a functional site where you can buy all the delicacies they produce, comfortably from home) to stop by the "Nuovo Fiore" pastry bar where, in addition to their delicacies, you will find the hospitality, kindness and professionalism of the managers.
