Perfect lunch! We had lunch at this inn and the experience was truly impeccable. The food was delicious, carefully prepared with quality ingredients. Every dish was a delight, from the first to the last. The staff was extremely professional, kind, and attentive, always present without ever being intrusive. Service that truly makes the difference! The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, ideal for a relaxing, quality break. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

A place not to be underestimated! Reopened recently, this bar offers various dining options: we tried everything, from breakfast to dinner since we stayed in the village one night. To try: the salted meat, the salad with speck, the 'Cantabrica' pinsa, the ice creams, the coffee and for breakfast I forgot to mention that for those who are lactose intolerant like me, you can try the Meraner and Trentino sausages. The beer goes down with pleasure. In my opinion, I recommend this place to everyone: to those who go out for a walk or a bike ride, or if you are around the mountains with your motorbike and are looking for a quiet place already away from the chaos. Absolutely recommended also for those who are with a disabled person; the place is totally accessible and the bathrooms are clean.

Rifugio Baita Tonda

14/07/2025: Mi sono recato in questo locale con la mia famiglia durante la nostra vacanza a Folgaria. La baita sorge proprio a due passi dagli impianti di risalita di Serrada ed offre una fantastica vista sulle montagne circostanti, con una bella terrazza sulla quale si puo' mangiare godendosi il fantastico panorama. Consiglio vivamente il piatto unico con Polenta, Funghi, Formaggio Fuso e Luganega, ma anche i Wurstel con le patatine fritte sono molto buoni. Per chi vuole rimanere leggere ottima anche l'Insalata Rustica. Da bere ottime le birre chiare, molto gustose e rinfrescanti. Personale gentile e disponibile ma prezzi decisamente sopra la media del posto.
28/06/2025: Durante il nostro soggiorno a Folgaria abbiamo deciso di percorrere il sentiero (di media difficoltà) da Serrada a Forte Dosso delle Somme (costruito nel corso della Prima Guerra Mondiale), attraversando il caratteristico sentiero della Forra del Lupo. Durante la camminata ci siamo fermati in questo rifugio assaggiando pappardelle al ragù di selvaggina, un buonissimo strudel trentino e sacher. Personale cortese, raggiungibile facilmente con la vicinissima seggiovai. Prezzi nella media dei rifugi testati in zona Folgaria anche se un po' altini.

14/08/2025: Excellent service, but the food leaves a bit to be desired. We've always had breakfast and lunch here, driven by enthusiasm for a place with so many vegan options. I'm sorry to say, however, that if this is an omnivore's first experience with vegan cuisine, they'll be very disappointed and discouraged! Breakfast: The brioches are served warm, which is definitely a plus. We had a "normal" one, which was a bit chewy but overall good and well-filled, and a vegan one, more like a brioche than a flaky croissant. The vegan one didn't taste great; it's a sweet bread. The hazelnut cream filling, however, was generous, which earned it a point. The cappuccino was awful; it seemed watered down. Lunch: We tried a gluten-free pizza, which was truly a cloud; the dough was incredibly soft, but the toppings on top left much to be desired. For main courses, a vegan lasagna and a spinach roll. The roll was not bad, with no special highlights. The lasagna with soy ragù, on the other hand, was not so good. It was floating in oil (this confirms what other reviews have said) and was practically a slab of pasta. Béchamel is the easiest thing to veganize, and this lasagna lacked it, and the soy ragù, with soy that was barely visible, probably came from the pre-made jars, which was basically tomato sauce with a few pieces here and there. Lunch was saved by the coffee cream and dessert. My companion had the pandolce, but it was served with powdered sugar; as with the brioche, it wasn't very flavorful; perhaps it could have been better with a filling. I had the linzer, which was truly special, delicious. Recommended.
