For me, great place to grab a last pasticcioto before train leaves Lecce, along with coffee and anything else. Crowded, esp. with morning tradies, but staff was attentive and efficient. Order at cassa first. Cases full of all kinds of pastries Leccese. I took my coffee out to the terrace tables and watched the foot traffic. I found quality, prices, all in line with old cafes eleswhere in Lecce (pasticcioto+caffe=€3.5), and less than old town center (€5), if, I understand, higher than domestic travellers might be used to at home.

We tried a rustico leccese, a pasticciotto all'amarena (black cherry pastry), and a caffè leccese. For a café located in a train station, the selection is decent and the prices are reasonable. We didn't enjoy the caffè leccese, but the desserts were good. The atmosphere could be a little more refined, although the staff was courteous and helpful.
