26/01/2025: A great place 2 steps from the sea excellent food excellent bill very friendly staff who don't understand Italian there is only the Neapolitan room manager and you have to wait until he is free to order other than that everything is normal
25/01/2025: I ate at Uncle Jack's twice within a week. Both experiences were positive, in various respects, first and foremost: quality of the meat, which remains the main attraction of the place. But also the environment, linked to warm furnishings but not overloaded with furnishings and useless frills, each object seems designed to be where it is and integrates with the rest of the room. The staff, another strong point, as I see it. For various reasons, both that riding the multi-ethnic heterogeneity catapults Naples into the ranks of modern European and world capitals, which is saying something! Both for how they commit themselves, working with seriousness and meticulousness. Of course, they cannot understand linguistic nuances that are neither too courtly nor strictly dialectal... but is it really so essential that they do so, if, in any case, in one way or another they manage to serve you quickly and respect your orders? In my very modest but sincere opinion, no. They're fine. Long live those who give people, without limitations of ethnicity, sex or religion, the opportunity to express professionalism and friendliness. Which is often missing in many very Italian and noble maitre d's! Going back upstream: very good meat and for someone like me who loves it almost raw, the must of cooking it rare on many sizes and types is praiseworthy!! I have only one regret: the first time I ordered, among others, a small piece of Kobe meat that never arrived. Next visit to Uncle Jack, I hope they don't forget me...🥹
