Difficile, nella zona del Lago di Como, trovare luoghi dove si può gustare la tipica cucina italiana senza cadere nelle trappole dei cattura-turisti ... È assolutamente un caso che abbiamo scoperto il Caffè Centrale, nella piazza principale del paese di Menaggio, e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti! La cucina è fresca e abbondante, piatti di pasta tipici, insalate grandi e ottimo prezzo, il tutto servito con un sorriso e con una vista sul lago come bonus..Non si può non adorare!

Delicious gelato, with truly creamy and flavorful flavors! The staff was kind and helpful, always smiling. I really appreciated the gesture of remaking my daughter's cup for free after she dropped it. Small gestures that really make a difference. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!

Locals recommended this cafe for the Sicilian cannoli and we also had the typical brioche with ice cream, a real bomb. I didn't weigh it but judging by the size there must have been half a kilo of ice cream, the cannoli filled on the spot, a real treat. The coffee was also excellent.

21/09/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, a traditional trattoria tucked away in the alleys of Castrofilippo's historic center. The four of us sampled several homemade appetizers, two pizzas, and a schiacciata: everything was delicious and prepared with authentic simplicity. The four-cheese pizza, while flavorful, was a bit too oily. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar; I recommend visiting especially on weekdays, when the service is more attentive and quick, while on weekends the place tends to fill up quickly.
