Bar Borgo In Roccella ionica

I went to this bar this afternoon through a friend. The place looks good, but the icing on the cake is the girl at the counter, very kind and professional, with a sincere smile.

A bar in the heart of the historic center with indoor and outdoor seating. The brioche gelato is excellent, made with top-quality ingredients. The outdoor seating area is also pleasant, sheltered from the sun and perfect for spending a few pleasant hours. The staff is friendly and helpful, although I would recommend a few more smiles for the cashiers, not just the waiters. Definitely worth a try.

What a wonderful experience stopping by Bar Borgo! The granitas were excellent (wow, the blackberry and fig one, plus the huge brioche with tuppo—I didn't take a photo because it was so good!). The fruit salad with yogurt was also delicious. Everything was so fresh! And the choice to offer different gelato flavors every day based on the availability of the ingredients is a great and commendable confirmation of this. It's a shame we didn't get to try the "Profumi di Sardegna" flavor (myrtle, ricotta, and honey), which I hope to try someday. The breakfast with cappuccino and croissant (super-stuffed!) was also excellent. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, from the owners to the guys and girls serving outside. Highly recommended.

Located in the historic center of Roccella Ionica in a very charming location. In the summer, it offers outdoor seating in a cozy little square in front of the bar. 5 stars for the products: the croissants are delicious, especially the ones with pistachio cream. The coffee is also excellent. 5 stars for the location. 5 stars for the service at the counter. 5 stars for the table service year-round in general. 1 star for the table service in August.

The granitas and gelato are very good, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. I confirm what I wrote last year: it's worth a try.
