The copper-pan-cooked trout is highly recommended: you won't find it like this anywhere else! There are many side dishes to choose from, and, if you prefer, very good appetizers too.
The service is always warm and friendly. The bill is very fair.

A beautiful cabin in a stunning location high up in the mountains. There are swans and trout ponds, which are their specialty. Excellent food, friendly and courteous staff, and a very good value. I'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere is very nice and the food is good.
Consistent with other restaurants in the area, we spent the right amount. We didn't eat fish, but we did eat meat...a platter of cured meats, carne salade, and a main course of beef with sauce. With three small sandwiches between two of us, you can't eat those dishes, and we rightly asked for some extra bread. I never expected to find €1.50 on the bill for three extra sandwiches.
My argument isn't about €1.50.
With cured meats and meat, charging an extra fee for a measly portion of bread is simply not an option.

A wonderful surprise! If you want to try delicious trout dishes, this is the place for you. The dishes are simple, but very tasty. The restaurant is adjacent to the trout farm; you can freely tour the site, where you can watch the fish frolic in the tanks. Kudos to the owner and his staff: very kind and welcoming; they gave us excellent advice on what to try. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

We returned to the Baita twice during our trip to the Non Valley. The setting is enchanting among the mountains, the service is impeccable, the welcome is fabulous, and the food is delicious.
We tried both the exquisite cold trout (marinated, carpione, smoked) and the one cooked in a copper pan, which is very flavorful.
The polenta, mushrooms, cabbage, and potato fritters are top-notch! Authentic ingredients, cooked simply to enhance their flavors.
The panna cotta is also delicious, light and creamy.
Highly recommended!

A delightful corner of the world, well-maintained and well-run by a lovely family who have been running the business for generations. Trout, being caught and raised on site, is the main ingredient on the menu... and is offered in interesting versions. Excellent value for money... well done... you always have a great time with us, regardless of everything.
