What can I say... super dishes from a starred chef, impeccable service that makes you forget you are in a mountain refuge, refined atmosphere. SUPER attention to the customer, even to the child.

This cabin is a cut above the rest of the others in the area. Table service, polenta with game is top-notch, and to finish, sugar cubes flavored with 90% alcohol. Excellent views from the outdoor tables, and comfortable seating inside. Friendly staff.

A quick lunch on the terrace on a wonderful sunny day with a breathtaking view of many Dolomite peaks! We ordered polenta with sausage and cheese, truly delicious! The service was quick and courteous despite the crowds due to the skiers. The prices aren't cheap, of course, but I think they're appropriate for the location. In these cases, you're not just paying for the dish, but also for the location, which is truly incredible! Five years ago, we stopped by for a delicious afternoon snack, and Baita Checco is still the best! Well done!

10/03/2026: The service was pleasant, but I think it was the worst burrata with "salad" and "ham" I've ever had in Italy. In my opinion, the price didn't match the quality of the food.

16/03/2026: The mountain hut is truly well-kept: the room, the breakfast, the dinner, the spa, everything was perfect! Family-run, very welcoming. The location is also very convenient! We'll be back :)
