A quick lunch on the terrace on a wonderful sunny day with a breathtaking view of many Dolomite peaks! We ordered polenta with sausage and cheese, truly delicious! The service was quick and courteous despite the crowds due to the skiers. The prices aren't cheap, of course, but I think they're appropriate for the location. In these cases, you're not just paying for the dish, but also for the location, which is truly incredible! Five years ago, we stopped by for a delicious afternoon snack, and Baita Checco is still the best! Well done!

What can I say... a superb experience. Aside from a few minor distractions, everything else was truly TOP. The food is simply sublime, but what really makes the difference is the attention paid to the guests—and especially to the children. As soon as you're seated, they bring coloring pages, crayons with sharpeners, and, every now and then, even a Chupa Chups: little things that make the kids feel welcome and happy. For adults, there's a truly special touch: they bring a tin basket to your table with a sample of their homemade grappas. They're all excellent, but the orange and coffee ones are absolutely worth trying. A round of applause and a sincere thank you to the waiters, who were so kind and attentive throughout the entire lunch. We had a wonderful time at this cabin: highly recommended.

A nice place, for food I had tagliatelle with ragù cut with a knife, but they were normal egg tagliatelle, I didn't say anything... it was enough to say it... for the rest the view of the Dolomites is a spectacle

Excellent strudel with zabaglione

Stop before heading home for a dessert. Slightly off the beaten path but still close to the funicular, a quiet spot with a few outdoor tables and a lounge area for relaxing with a mountain view. Service was by helpful, friendly staff. I enjoyed a special dessert—I don't remember the German name—it was a sweet omelette, accompanied by fresh fruit and homemade jam. Everything was delicious! A nice glass of apple juice...

The location is very nice with a stunning view of the mountains, everything is tidy and clean. The food is top-quality and beautifully presented, the staff is fast and helpful, the owners are very kind and friendly, excellent value for money with a shuttle service offered for dinner.
