In the charming town of Varigotti, on a long beach of pebbles and sand, a traditional beach resort with umbrellas and loungers, restrooms, changing rooms, and a bar-restaurant. Professional and friendly staff. Newspapers are available. Lunch and dinner by the sea with a varied menu, including fish and Ligurian specialties. All at reasonable prices.

A warm welcome and a table overlooking the sea, with a beautiful sunset on the horizon. The mixed fried fish was really good, but the other dishes we ordered weren't up to par (the salmon lacked the red fruit sauce, and the cherry tomatoes in the trofie pasta overpowered the flavor of the entire dish). The service was a bit slow and inconsistent at first. The staff were friendly, though; I'm confident it will be better next time :-)

A delicious dinner, impeccable service, and everyone was very friendly. The food was excellent. If the sea is calm, you can eat on the beach by the sea.

A wonderful experience! I had dinner with my husband right on the waterfront, and that alone made the evening special: few things are better than eating with the sound of the waves in the background. The food is good and high-quality, with carefully prepared and beautifully presented dishes. The only small flaw was the tuna tartare: the portion was way too small, three pieces, almost making you say "bring it on, it's cooked like Checco Zalone!" 😅 Otherwise, everything was perfect: extremely kind staff, impeccable service, and great courtesy. Definitely a restaurant worth trying.

18/08/2023: Eravamo in 2, volevamo sfondarci di pesce, abbiamo ordinato le polpette di polpo e del polpo c era solo il ricordo, due fritti di mare, buoni ma porzioni abbastanza ridotte, una tagliata di tonno con parmigiano e rucola che era buona ma filamentosa lasciandoci intuire...
30/07/2023: Primo giorno a Porto cesareo, appena arrivati per una settimana di relax … scelgo questo ristorante dopo aver visto ottime recensioni a riguardo su Tripadvisor. Pranzo squisito… unica pecca un po’ caruccio, ma piatti squisiti. Non tornerei solo per il prezzo, non per il cibo.

22/02/2026: We had breakfast at the Smeraldo Lounge Bar Pizzeria Bistrot and the experience was very pleasant, especially given the stunning waterfront location, which makes for a relaxing and enchanting experience. Even though we arrived at 11:00 a.m. on a Sunday, we still found an excellent variety and quality of products, well-stocked and inviting, and we appreciated the kindness and politeness of the staff, always courteous and helpful. The only small drawback was the presence of a few pigeons during our meals, which was a bit annoying at times, but overall, we recommend this place for breakfast with a sea view.
