Immersed in nature, in the silence, and feeling at home, pampered by the exquisite local cuisine and the attentive staff. This family-run agriturismo captures and conveys the beauty of being in Calabria.

I return every year, and I go there again and again during my vacation to savor the flavors of this land. A few simple dishes, but excellent and expertly handmade, from the pasta to the sauces. They always surprise us with something new. They absolutely must bring home their wonderful jams, olive oil, and sardines.

An absolutely perfect place for anyone seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and seeking peace and relaxation close to nature. The agritourism hotel and restaurant are situated in a beautiful setting overlooking the Calabrian hills, covered with olive groves. The bells of grazing cows can be heard in the distance, and the pool offers a fabulous view of the hills and a glimpse of the small, stone town atop the mountain, beautifully illuminated in the evening. The room is very comfortable, with air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a sheltered terrace, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening wine. The agritourism swimming pool boasts refreshing water and a fantastic view! The restaurant is absolutely wonderful, located in the courtyard among the stone buildings. The food is delicious, fresh, and locally sourced. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful in every situation – you can feel the true hospitality and naturalness here! The beach is about a 20-minute drive away, and the beautiful town of Santa Severina is worth a visit nearby—about an hour's drive, but well worth it. Definitely one of those places you'll want to return to. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We've been eating here for two years, and the cuisine is typical of Crucolese. The staff is welcoming and friendly. I recommend the macaroni with ferretto and the ricotta and vegetable crepes. I love the pasta dishes. As for wine, I recommend the Casaluro rosé. For main courses, the goat is a must, but you should ask for it in advance. Book in advance. There's also a pool. Affordable prices and excellent quality. At the end of the meal, I recommend the homemade blueberry or bay leaf liqueur. For the evening, even if it's a hot day, bring at least a shawl because it gets chilly.

Salotto Aragonese

29/10/2025: Admittedly, it's the off-season, so it's very quiet. Therefore, my experience is based on three visits at the end of October. I received a warm welcome, and this restaurant is one of the few where I could communicate in English. The food was perfect. I ordered a pizza Emiliana with lots of delicious, fresh toppings and had fried seafood, which was prepared in a typical Mediterranean style. For me, the price was perfectly reasonable considering the perfect location overlooking the castle. I come from a peninsula in Germany with a lot of tourism, and the prices were comparable. My special thanks go to the waiters Funmi, Tommaso, and Julio, and to the wonderful kitchen staff!
19/10/2025: We're here for brunch today. I've rarely enjoyed such a diverse selection. A new dish is added every time the bell rings. The staff is friendly and extremely attentive to table service. Highly recommend it to guests who appreciate good food with high-quality ingredients and craftsmanship. Brunch €25, excluding drinks. Thank you for the unforgettable gourmet foray into Italian cuisine.

COS 'E PAZZ

09/10/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizzeria, with a varied menu, which also offers fried foods and other tasty dishes.
26/09/2025: Spurred by the positive reviews, we decided to try this pizzeria. We started with a classic frittatina, which was good, not very crispy, but the flavor was good. We followed with a quadrotto with raw shrimp and classic montanare. The quadrotto tasted good, but the dough wasn't the softest. But what surprised me, and not in a good way, were the montanare: they were very hard and, at times, crunchy. The dough was a bit "gnucco," absolutely far from the Neapolitan montanara tradition. We continued with a "Diego" pizza and a "Popolana" which, unfortunately, didn't particularly impress us as the dough wasn't as soft as we expected (and as we're used to with Neapolitan pizza) due to the high expectations raised by the various awards the place boasts. The buffalo mozzarella and fior di latte were not very flavorful. A pizza, to say the least, average. The service, however, was attentive and fast. A very nice place overlooking the sea. The quality-price ratio, in my opinion, is a little high for some of the products used. As a native of Campania, would I recommend it? Well, not really, but there are better options.
