I only had a coffee. There's a picnic area with four benches and two wooden tables under a canopy...ideal for a packed lunch, as long as they're not already taken.
It's the perfect place to break up your journey to Reggio or Sicily. You'll find everything you need, the perfect stop to recharge before continuing your journey.
Everything is outdated, toilets are fairly clean but problem is they are old. There is shower its 3 euros its clean and it works nice. Parking is somewhat small. There is a lot of variety of food. Staff is nice and helpful
The service station was average, nothing more.
The coffee was acceptable, just drinkable.
The service, on the other hand, was terrible: the staff was uninterested, with the air of doing you a favor.
The bathrooms? Dirty, period.
And the most absurd thing is that, despite everything, the prices remain those of a 5-star hotel.
In the South, too many service stations now look like run-down areas disguised as "rest areas."
We stopped for a short break on August 11. We understand there's a lot of tourism, but a dunghill is cleaner. It was a terrible experience, and we feel sorry for the Calabrians who will surely suffer the consequences. Avoid.
