The only redeeming quality of the small town of Fiume Veneto is how exceptional this pasticceria is! Staff always gets you with a smile even on a busy weekend! The smell of butter in the morning wakes you up and the colorful pastries brightens up your day. The apple and cherry toppings on their brioche, frittole, & treccine Is something I'd come back to on a daily basis.

We took our girls for hot chocolate and a sweet treat. The chocolate was wonderful, just like they used to make the thick, dark chocolate years ago. Excellent! The varied selection of infusions was sensational to say the least. Not knowing what to choose for pancakes, given the endless variety of flavors, we finally opted to take home a tray to share with the grandparents. Everything was truly fantastic 😍

Everything was incredible, one of the top three places in the area for pastries and brioches, as well as delicious panettone. The only downside is the slightly limited space given the large crowds, especially considering the quality of the food. The prices are reasonable for what you get.

26/10/2025: First visited this pub when it opened around 1997, it was the only place in town where you coukd get a good pint of beer/Guinness. It's a quirky Irish themed pub in Italy, great atmosphere with good music playing in the background. A big bonus is when you buy around you get a load of snacks for free! Well worth a visit if you're in Pordenone.
