I visited this pastry shop because my daughter always loves going to new places. Nice atmosphere, good product, but very small environment. 6 of us squeezed into a 3-person table....
Staff friendly, but distracted during service.
I wouldn't go back because the place is too crowded....

After a few months I returned. I must say that it is not easy to find good, smart and fast staff. Anyway, the coffee and dry pastries are good. We went to order our little child's cake, chocolate sponge cake with Chantilly cream and berries.
From Montereale because we know that their products are excellent.
Unfortunately it was a flop, the sponge cake was 3/4 centimeters high underneath and not very wet, good cream, there was perhaps a shadow of the berries + another 2 cm of sponge cake on top. Unfortunately it looked like "an American thing". Beautiful but not good and dry, I had very high expectations having tasted the pastries, brioches and pancakes. We were very sorry.

I love this place. It is small but very welcoming and you can breathe an air of passion for pastry making, being surrounded by colorful and delicious desserts. The shop assistants are courteous and helpful even if the table service is a little slow due to the high number of takeaways, I would recommend increasing the staff. In any case they are really well stocked and the quality is high. As for the fillings, I would suggest you not to overdo it, especially with the chocolate one, as it is really heavy and too much compared to the brioche, and it ends up making you sick. If I think about the pistachio one instead, what can I say, it's stratospheric.
