Aquila Nera In Frassilongo

We went to Trattoria Aquila Nera for lunch on the occasion of my partner's birthday, and the experience was simply perfect. The place has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with wooden furnishings that convey all the authenticity of Trentino tradition. The menu is full of typical dishes: we tried canederli, strangolapreti, polenta with venison, pork shank and rabbit, all cooked in an excellent way and served in generous portions. You can perceive the authenticity of the ingredients and the passion in the kitchen. A true triumph of local flavors! Not to mention the various grappas produced by them. A special applause to Mrs. Lucia, very kind and attentive, who made our lunch even more enjoyable with her hospitality. Exceptional value for money. Highly recommended for those looking for authentic cuisine, a family atmosphere and an experience that goes beyond simply "going to a restaurant".

The Aquila Nera restaurant was a real surprise. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a rustic touch that makes you immediately feel at home. The staff is very kind and attentive to every detail. I tasted the rabbit, the venison with polenta and the apple strudel: all the dishes were delicious, prepared with fresh, excellent quality ingredients. The venison was particularly tender and tasty, and the strudel was the perfect end to an unforgettable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to try true Trentino cuisine."

Very beautiful place in the mountains, you arrive by car and beautiful walks start from there. Simple restaurant just what you need for a meal with friends. You eat a lot and well, you definitely don't feel light!! Friendly staff.

The food is identical. The landlady was extremely friendly. We also got something to eat when the restaurant was closed with the words "if you eat what the family eats" It was simply tasty. Have been there at least 5 times. Always good. Once with an overnight stay, but that was about 15 years ago. Back then the rooms were very simply furnished, I don't know what they are like now.

We (5 of us) went there on a Thursday at midday, ate an appetizer and a second course....abundant dishes at an excellent price. Advised.

Tipico ristorante di montagna, rustico,famigliare e informale. Servizio rapido e cordiale in ambiente conviviale. Cibo molto buono,porzioni davvero abbondanti. Una bella esperienza.

Eating here is the experience of a lifetime, starting with the road ahead. The extremely generous portions (too much!) pamper the senses together with a decor made of wonderful skulls. I recommend this place to you as I would recommend a heart surgeon if you were in the situation of needing emergency surgery.

Quiet place where you can enjoy succulent Trentino cuisine. The ladies Maria and Lucia are very hospitable and helpful. We have been frequenting the restaurant and staying overnight for about ten years now. Good value for money.

It was a very pleasant surprise! A local friend of ours took us and we were super happy. Starter: a delicious salami, soft and tasty. And then dumplings, strangolapreti, polenta, rabbit, venison, shin and goulash... Super generous portions (with the possibility of taking home what was left over). Genuine flavours, typical of Trentino. Excellent choice of wines or grappas. A place for those seeking tradition and the strong flavors of game. Traditional cuisine is respected and exalted. A crazy view of the mountains and a welcoming place for those who appreciate nature and culture. Thanks for the excellent lunch
