Antico Forno Da Mario In Genova

I had a pizza tour for €20 (with cover and no drinks), and honestly, it's not worth it. All the pizzas are the same, with stracchino cheese and very few other ingredients. Farinata and cheese focaccia are okay.

It's changed management, Mario's is no longer there. Besides spending too much at €32 per person for a round of pizza for 12 people, the service is poor, even though the place was practically empty. I'm from the area and won't be returning.

The pizza tour is always a pleasure. They serve excellent farinata (plain, with sausage, onions, and gorgonzola), cheese focaccias, pizzate, schiacciata, and then the pizzas begin. The "black pearl" with egg and truffle is exceptional. On the pizza tour, however, despite the size, there are other rich and delicious pizzas, like the pesto and stracchino, spicy salami and spring onions... definitely worth a try. There's usually no room for dessert, but coffee and an after-dinner drink are. Drinks, desserts, cover charge, and coffee are not included in the price of the pizza tour, which is still a reasonable €18 (but with extras, it easily goes up to €30). I'll be back when I can. Authentic!

We have been there before, the service and food were excellent, we went around the pizza place, the pizzas were fabulous and already cut, they accepted our little dogs, so highly recommended.

Good evening... I'll be honest... When we got back from the beach, we immediately stopped at Franz's (we already knew it), but they no longer did take-out farinata. On our way out, I noticed the pizzeria next door was open, and since it said "FARINATA," I gave it a try... I'd never been there before, and... I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK... FARINATA WITH ONION AND SAUSAGE, REALLY EXCELLENT... 2 OF US EATEN 1.2 Kg (and thank goodness our son wasn't there!!!) The welcoming staff... In short, MORE than this... IF YOU'RE OPEN TOMORROW, GET READY, WE'LL COME AND PICK UP THE PIZZAS... SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!!!! (assuming you're open)

We went for farinata and Recco focaccia. But after the farinata, we decided we'd return to eat the focaccia on an empty stomach, as the portions are a bit generous.

It is located in front of the sports club G.A.U. of Genoa Struppa. We found parking nearby. You need to inquire about disabled access because the entrance is raised with three steps. Welcoming atmosphere, quick and fast service, courteous and professional staff. We had a Neapolitan pizza and a cipollina with the addition of bacon, both excellent both in terms of presentation and taste. Congratulations, we will return with friends. We returned in two, unfortunately we had to wait over an hour to receive the dishes ordered, so much so that the beers became lukewarm, given the long wait we would have expected a hunger breaker offered by the house or a discount. Nothing to say about the farinata, more than excellent. I don't know if we will return.
