A quick stop before lunch, and after spending the morning up and down Pillerone on our mountain bikes, we were very hungry. We decided to stop at this trattoria for an aperitivo with gnocco fritto, cured meats and cheeses, and fresh Ortrugo.
Everything was delicious, with typical Piacenza flavors, but the portions were really small for seven people. Don't waste your time trying a few extra slices!
Nice location, limited parking.

Thanks to a couple of friends from Piacenza, Alois and Luisella, we discovered this delightful place, nestled in the countryside between Rivalta Castle and Rivergaro. Exquisite dishes, typical of the area, especially the various types of pasta (anolini, tagliatelle, pisarei, etc.), all homemade, not to mention the fried mushrooms and many other delicacies. Every time we return, it's a feast for the taste buds! Well done to everyone, from the managers to the waitresses.

Business lunch, typical trattoria to enjoy traditional Piacenza dishes. What can I say? Friendly and helpful staff, spectacular gnocco fritto, delicious cured meats, very tasty meats, excellent wine from various wineries. The only drawback was a few annoying flies. I understand we're in the hills and perhaps in agricultural areas, but I'd suggest some natural remedies to lessen the annoyance of the diners.
Overall, a highly recommended restaurant; if I have the chance, I'll gladly return, perhaps to try the pasta dishes!

We found this lovely trattoria on the way to Bobbio. We really enjoyed the stop and tried the fixed-price lunch menu. For a first course, second course, choice of wine, water, half course, dessert, and coffee, €75. The only flaw was that the pasta was a little overcooked, but the flavor was exceptional. The roast beef was excellent.

Kindness and flavors from times gone by. Divine tagliatelle with mushrooms. Excellent tortelli. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.
