A jump into the past! We stopped during the journey, we only had one dish (homemade fettuccine with meat sauce) which was truly delicious, Domenico offered us ham from his own production and very tasty sweets. Don't be intimidated by the entrance that looks like that of a house and the dated furnishings... it's worth it!

A few steps from the Pastena Caves I highly recommend Mr. Domenico's restaurant. A pleasantly familiar environment, a menu of only precious local products, generous prices. The house wine together with the grilled meat is the highlight. Kindness, courtesy and attention to the customer.

Discovered by chance, the ancient trattoria of the caves was a sensational discovery. Delicious food, the home-grown meat is amazing, Domenico's wine and limoncello are out of this world, Domenico's sister-in-law makes extraordinary donuts. He is an exquisite and easy-going person, we felt at home. We will definitely be back in autumn for the polenta with sprouts and the new wine 🍷

Trattoria from times gone by. It reminds me of the trattorias when I was a child. The owner is a free-range and extremely helpful person, welcoming and generous.
We ate grilled meat and drank a wine made by him.
In the heart of Ciociara we felt at home.

Trattoria found almost by chance, and it was a pleasant discovery! Mr. Domenico was very kind, he welcomed us even though we hadn't booked.

In this restaurant I took a step back in time, ancient flavors that have been lost. Mr. Domenico welcomed us warmly and pampered us. Lunch was very good, especially the homemade fettuccine, truly delicious! We will certainly be back.
