The real trattoria of the past, like staying at home. Spartan restaurant, home-made food and friendly, informal service. Don't expect a chef in the kitchen but the classic "grandmother" who makes handmade fettuccine and vegetables picked from the garden. I already want to go back...

Dopo aver visitato le grotte ho portato un gruppo di circa 50 persone a pranzo in questa trattoria; quasi tutti sono rimasti contenti. Non c'è molta scelta, c'è un menù turistico con pasta fatta in casa e gnocchi e un secondo di carne con vino bianco o rosso. Con noi c'erano due persone celiache che sono state servite e hanno mangiato senza problemi. Il personale è gentile e premuroso. È chiaro che se volete o intendete mangiare nel lusso.........cambiate aria!!! ma se volete mangiare in una tipica trattoria italiana "old style", siete i benvenuti.

Alcune settimane fa, dopo aver visitato le affascinanti grotte di Pastena, ho pranzato in questa trattoria insieme a mia moglie e ad una coppia di amici. Il posto è molto rustico, con un'offerta limitata ma buona. Non abbiamo scelto l'antipasto andando direttamente ai primi, ma il titolare ci ha offerto qualche fettina del suo prosciutto e del suo formaggio (che non ho mangiato). Come primi abbiamo preso gnocchi al sugo di carne, anche se devo dire che di carne ce n'era veramente poca e per questo non do il punteggio massimo, e delle tagliatelle al pomodoro per la bimba dei nostri amici. Come secondo ci ha portato uno spiedino di carne mista, molto buono, e delle patate al forno. E' il posto perfetto per chi vuole mangiare bene spendendo una cifra onesta; infatti, con acqua, vino, caffè e digestivi abbiamo pagato 20 euro a persona. Con un pochino di pulizia in più sarebbe fantastico, ma lo consiglio comunque a chiunque capiti in zona.

Like eating at your grandparents' house...extraordinary, spectacular food, not suitable for people who don't understand homemade food...I highly recommend it

We ate very well, the Knight owner of the business is a very kind and helpful person, from other times, his mission is to pamper the customer in the best way, the menu is simple but very well cooked, fettuccine and gnocchi made at home, a real delicacy, and the roast meat with baked potatoes, very good house wine and homemade biscuits with coffee and homemade limoncello all for only €20, we highly recommend it, we will definitely return

The restaurant staff is very welcoming and kind, it is a trattoria with old homemade flavours. Everything delicious, from the fettuccine to the meat skewers and potatoes, all homemade. Wine, always from the house, excellent. I highly recommend.
