Traditional Neapolitan pizza and prices like those of the past. I leave three stars because it seems different compared to years ago, this one is slightly crunchy, almost as if it were produced with an electric oven. Furthermore, fried appetizers are not available, but only mozzarella with raw meat, which is also traditional.

As the name itself suggests, it seems frozen in time. The pizza is normal and the service is also normal.

28/12/2024: Ottima pizza nel centralissimo quartiere Vomero. Impasto assai digeribile, Ottima qualità degli ingredienti e buona disponibilità dei camerieri. Consigliata!!!
19/09/2024: A Napoli, al Vomero per lavoro, mentre fuori impazza una pioggia pazzesca e in cielo, al festeggiato di oggi San Gennaro, scintilla fuochi d'artificio bagnati, mi godo questa pizza, visibile nelle foto allegate, fatta magistralmente, come da prassi, è un fantastico fiore di zucca fritto ripieno di ricotta. Un calice di Aglianico, bella l'atmosfera, forno a vista, e 18.50 il conto finale. In linea con le pizzerie d'Italia.

La Fornacella

13/12/2024: We came here to see Herculean ruins. It is not far from the train station it has decent Italian food. The price is not low, the food is decent, pretty standard, no surprises. We were in a rush to get to the ruins whilst this restaurant is more for people who can take their time for a meal. There are many more cheaper and faster restaurants closer to the entrance of the ruins.
25/11/2024: We stopped for lunch by chance after visiting the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum, it was a great surprise. Very good pizza, my dad had the Neapolitan soup, a delicious dish of vegetables and meat, my mum had the scialatielli with fried aubergines and salted ricotta, really excellent. Very good coffee. Friendly and helpful staff despite it being close to closing time.
