Antica Pizzeria In Palestrina

24/11/2025: It was our first time stopping at Checco's, on the recommendation of an acquaintance. The food was delicious, authentic and slightly homely. My wife remembered how typical it was a few years ago to find this type of cuisine on the roads between towns, especially for so-called "outsiders."

17/11/2025: I didn't remember having been there before as I wasn't from the area and in any case I had already given 5 stars. I went back a few days ago after a trip to Cervara and it was a pleasant surprise... Family atmosphere, homemade pasta with authentic sauces, the best French fries I've ever eaten (they seemed like the ones our grandmothers used to make) and a spectacular lamb... Congratulations... And last but not least, very honest with the prices, highly recommended
