Gricia with butter, no way... The "code de sureca" (strozzapreti pasta made with water and flour) are good, but butter in gricia is a no-no. The chicory is really good. The view is stunning, like Rivendell from Lord of the Rings.

A historic restaurant in Genazzano, Terremoto is a must-see for anyone who wants to savor traditional cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, a world away from the "prim and proper" restaurants of today.

Amazing, delicious food, even if it's rustic. The service is also wonderful. The manager, Gigi, is a real character, very funny and welcoming. Excellent first courses, such as "coda di soreca" (sorrel tail), rabbit cacciatore (a la cacciatora), and an excellent selection of local wines. Definitely worth a try! 💯

Recommended! Generous dishes at affordable prices. A classic, good-value trattoria.

I stumbled upon it by chance; it's a classic osteria like so many others once upon a time. These days, you won't find them anymore...
The food is honest, natural, without any pantomime: food just as your grandmother would have prepared it. The service is also welcoming, attentive, always ready to help but without being pushy. The house wine: simple, honest! Desserts and liqueurs are also included.
If you want to eat well, feel at home, and spend a fair amount... don't miss it.

The food was excellent, with great flavor and aroma. It's a family-run restaurant in a picturesque location, tucked away in an alley. The preparation time is long, but it's worth it.

What can we say about Antica Osteria Terremoto?
Located right on the square, parking is impossible, unless you're very far away or tolerated right along the road in front.
A beautiful place, located right on a valley that you can enjoy from the terrace tables.
Unfortunately, it's clear that the tables have been arranged to fit as many as possible, all packed together. When seated, you're practically back-to-back with the person sitting behind you. This obviously creates unimaginable confusion, and it's a very noisy place.
We enter and are greeted by no one. We stand for a few minutes at the entrance, and then a young man comes over and jokingly says, "Come on, I'll do it for you, otherwise you just stand there." We tell him the name of our reservation, and he shows us to our table.
We wait about 10 minutes, and then the waiter/owner arrives—I didn't quite catch who he was—and verbally explains the menu to us.
We choose and wait a whopping 40 minutes without even being brought some bread. The first courses arrive, and thankfully, that one, at least, is DELICIOUS. We eat with satisfaction and wait another 10 minutes or so for the second courses, which are also EXCELLENT. I can honestly recommend the rabbit cacciatore.
The house wine, drinkable for a lunch with friends, was also delicious.
The price was fair for what we ate.
It's a real shame the place is so crowded because the food is truly good.
I don't know if we'll return, but probably during the week, to enjoy a good meal at a fair price, with a beautiful view.

We had lunch with the family today. I found the place to be absolutely beautiful, not to mention the food, which was all delicious. Among the first courses, we had the pasta alla gricia, made with water and flour, and the ricotta and spinach ravioli with walnut cream, delicious. But for those of us who don't eat them every day, the best ones were the coratella and the pork livers. Next time we eat here, we want to try the tardo matto. Compliments for the food and hospitality. The view was beautiful.
