Everything was great! Great location, great food, and super friendly service. The staff is very friendly, and the dishes are truly unique and creative – definitely worth a visit!

We visited the Rungghof Manor for the second time a week ago. Just like the first time in 2023, it was wonderful. Feeling good is a top priority here. Breakfast is freshly prepared on a tiered stand according to individual wishes and served at your table. Nothing is left to be desired; everything is delicious. The lady in charge (unfortunately, I didn't ask for her name) is also very warm, extremely kind, and attentive. This year, we chose the gourmet half-board option again. The food and the selection of courses are also outstanding. The dishes are so delicately seasoned, it was a true pleasure to go to dinner every day. The rooms and the entire complex are extremely well-maintained. We particularly like the blend of the 500-year-old building and the new, modern elements. Everything here has a truly pleasant charm (from the manager to the other staff, rooms, etc.). We are also always particularly pleased that the Rungghof is so dog-friendly. The only improvement we could wish for would be a full-length mirror in the room. We would be happy to come back.

The hotel is beautifully and quietly located – perfect for relaxing. The outdoor area with its well-kept garden and pool is a real highlight. The whirlpool in the room was also a great extra and made our stay very pleasant. An important point for us was the vegan food. We had inquired in advance by phone and email whether vegan meals were possible – which was confirmed, but without any substitutes. On the first evening, we were simply guided through the regular menu to see what could be omitted. This was a bit disappointing, as it was more about omissions than creative replacements or adaptations. After a conversation with the team, things improved – they made an effort, and even started using substitutes. Nevertheless, you can tell that the kitchen isn't specialized in vegan food. The dishes seemed rather improvised and couldn't compete with the regular dishes in terms of taste. For example, the tofu preparation wasn't particularly successful. Conclusion: Unfortunately, dinner here is not (yet) recommended for vegans. However, if you don't have any special requirements for dinner, or book without dinner, you can have a nice stay here.

A gem nestled among the vineyards. Our room was beautifully furnished, with a whirlpool on the balcony. The food was particularly outstanding. The breakfast was also fantastic. We felt completely at home and would gladly return.

Unfortunately, value for money with half board is not right.

Beautiful hotel with idyllic views and very good food

Das Angebot an guten Restaurants mit schönem Ambiente, schöner Aussicht und gutem Essen ist im Südtirol gross, deshalb taten wir uns bei der Auswahl der Lokalität für unsere Hochzeit sehr schwer. Mit dem Ansitz Rungghof haben wir aber die perfekte Location gefunden. Die Umgebung sowie der Ausblick sind wahnsinnig schön. Die gesamte Abwicklung im Vorfeld war unkompliziert und sehr herzlich. Maria stand uns bei jeder Frage zur Seite, kam uns entgegen, hat uns fachlich super beraten, hat unsere Wünsche in die Tat umgesetzt. Wir konnten ihr blind vertrauen. Am Hochzeitstag selber hat alles wunderbar geklappt, genau so wie besprochen wurde alles umgesetzt. Das Personal ist super, sehr kompetent, auf angemessene Weise distanziert aber doch sehr freundlich und für Spässe zu haben. Die Zimmer waren super (an ein Badezimmer mit Glasscheiben werde ich mich aber persönlich nie gewöhnen), sehr sauber und gut gepflegt. Das Frühstück einen Traum, das ist wirklich unvergesslich! Das ausgewählte Dinner war super lecker, auch wenn wir uns im nachhinein für teilweise andere Gänge entscheiden würden. Ich fand es persönlich sehr schade, dass Manuel sich beim Dinner nie blicken liess, sein Küchenteam hätte viel Lob von unseren Gästen bekommen. Es war durchs Band einfach ein wahnsinnig schönes Fest! Danke Maria und Manuel, dass Ihr dafür gesorgt habt, dass alles so schön geklappt hat!

Scappato dal centro di Merano dove i ristoranti erano stracolmi, mi sono diretto verso questo ristorante! Mai scelta più azzeccata! Servizio al top! Ci ha servito un sommelier in gambissima che ci ha consigliato in tutto e per tutto! Gradita l’entree’ con il loro burro salato e l’ immancabile speck! Ogni piatto una bontà! La grappa alle mele consigliateci a fine pasto una chicca! Il posto merita per dei panorami mozzafiato! Il conto assolutamente in linea con il servizio ed i prodotti offerti! Se torno da quelle parti, sarà una tappa obbligatoria! CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!
