It's not just a place, but a very specific idea of cuisine and location. It is a beautiful project that includes an excellent gastronomic offer... but coming here is like taking a trip down memory lane. Between flavours, recipes, products... absolutely to try at least once in your life

We went there with rather high expectations but that wasn't the case. It is a restaurant for those who eat only molluscs and crustaceans, no meat. I recommend tasting the dishes before serving a first course, it was salty. I'm sorry but I wouldn't go back

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The prawn tartare of the "spaghetti benedict" was quite poor.
I ordered oysters, but they were full of sand. It was a mistake on my part not to report the problem to the waiter.
In any case, the quality of the products and the refinement of the dishes do not live up to the prices.

We had dinner in a narrow and poorly lit street, so much so that we had to use the light of our smartphones to read the menu. The arancino that we chose as an appetizer at the price of 14 euros does not differ in flavor and size from the one that any rotisserie sells at the price of 2.50 / 3.00 euros.
The spaghetti with lobster was seasoned with excessive sauce which prevented the flavor of the lobster from being enjoyed. Also on my plate were some small lobster shells. Good tiramisu and pasticciotto cake.

Very attractive location, especially the terrace. The internal winter room is also very beautiful and well-kept.
Very attentive and well directed staff, friendly, kind and precise.
The food pairings are well done. The dishes are light, loaded to the right point, balanced and of abundant proportions. If I may say so, perhaps the pepper reduction was a little too strong and abundant.
Correct and medium-low prices.
Slightly limited wine list. A place like this deserves more important wines. I don't know about spirits, because I didn't ask.

Sinodia, in Corigliano d'Otranto, is a very nice location that transmits tranquility, a fundamental aspect for a restaurant that aspires to a high level. Despite a small initial inconvenience, when we were left for 10 minutes without menus and without anyone noticing, the staff were kind and attentive. Each course was accompanied by an accurate explanation, especially the starters.
The starters, served in a pumo, were of the highest quality, even if the portions were a little small. As first courses we chose the spaghetti with lobster, which was really excellent and exuded freshness. The highlight, however, was the “Spaghetto Benedetto”, their flagship dish. Its fame is definitely deserved: the flavor was extraordinary.
To conclude, we enjoyed a delicious tartlet with meringue. In summary, I highly recommend the place and I recommend absolutely trying the Spaghetto Benedetto!
