We went to this little place last night, right in the center of Castel Gandolfo. We found it by chance and made a reservation. The owner was very kind and friendly. We ordered a porchetta and caponata sandwich, water, wine, and a mixed platter with caponata, parmigiana, porchetta, and cheese. All for €25. Definitely good food, a quiet place. We'll be back, and we highly recommend it.

Highly recommended. I had an amazing beer and the service was friendly and helpful. The beer alone would have earned me a top rating. Being greeted with a smile and someone willing to talk and smile is priceless for me.

09/09/2025: We stopped in for an aperitif and a snack at sunset, comfortable at the tables facing the sea, which served as a soundtrack. We had excellent, crispy, warm focaccia with clams, caramelized onions, and peppers, along with a fried dish, and then we had dinner. We returned after about ten days and had a wonderful time. The location was superb, the staff were incredibly kind, as was the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. We'll be back.

27/02/2026: You might go for the view, the service, the beauty of the restaurant… but the food isn't tasty. The salad was okay, but my husband's ravioli tasted bad, it smelled awful. I recommended he not eat any more, but he did. I only tried a little and didn't want to continue. Unfortunately, that experience affected me; I believe that's what made me feel sick to my stomach until the next day. It was truly awful how sick I felt.
20/10/2025: This is a good (and only) parking option if you want to drive to Fiordo di Furore. However, it costs €5 per hour and there's a €20 minimum bar charge (equivalent to two Limoncello Spritzes). Parking is limited, but you can enjoy a beautiful view from the bar after your visit to the beach.
