Alpen Hotel Eghel Restaurant In Folgaria

Hotel with typical skiing standards without fireworks but also without major reservations, completely sufficient for a ski trip. Pros: Clean rooms and cleaned daily. Buffet breakfasts. Three-course dinner menu, with three options to choose from in advance, additionally a buffet with salads, cakes, pizza. There is enough food and everyone will find something for themselves. The hotel has a small outdoor pool with a jacuzzi, a spa center in the hotel, access to the pool and sauna included in the price of the stay. The hotel is located close to the slope to the Costa lift, opposite the ski bus stop. Large parking lot. Ski room. Very friendly reception and hotel staff. Cons: The biggest problem is the ski bus, it is in the form of a train that pulls two carriages. The hotel is the third stop and this stop is often skipped because there is no more space. Sometimes, a more thoughtful Italian train operator drops people off at the lift and you return to the hotel, but there are few such operators and you have to wait another "x" amount of time. Italians are a lazy nation! Saunas are open until 19:30, but often at 17:00 there is a power cut. If you can come to the hotel with a dog, then allocate rooms in a separate part so as not to disturb the lives of others. The hotel itself is definitely too hot and the smog often does not allow you to open the window. There is no kettle or glasses in the rooms, and often after skiing, Polish tourists, of whom there are 90% there, love tea. Despite the minuses, I recommend this hotel for a family ski vacation.

4 days in February with two grandchildren to ski in a beautiful area

We had great first family ski holiday in Italy. The hotel service was outstanding, with welcoming and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the 3-course dinners each evening and breakfast buffet! A real highlight was the heated pool and saunas, which were perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The location couldn’t have been better – just a short walk to the Costa 1 ski slope / ski train ( 2 min drive ) Overall, highly recommend this hotel for a family ski holiday. Definitely coming back next year ! Thank you so much for a great time ❤️

We stayed here from 27 to 31 December, we had a great time! Very convenient location to the Costa facilities. Very friendly reception and room staff. Fair prices compared to other hotels. The only thing: having 2 very small children we were unable to use the outdoor swimming pool because although the water was lukewarm/hot, the external environment was too cold for them...

Wonderful week! if you want to spend a holiday between pampering and snow the Alpen Hotel Heghel is the perfect hotel, friendly staff and spotless rooms, the half board solution is ideal for those who love skiing, every evening we had dinner in the hotel and every evening there was A different and varied menu was proposed, dishes also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, all excellent and plentiful. The hotel is also perfect for those who are not ski lovers and for the little ones, inside you can find a wellness centre, spa, gym, mini club and entertainment. A fantastic stay!
