This place is halfway between an elegant restaurant and a gourmet restaurant. It has some interesting tricks, but falls short on some important things. An example above all: we ordered the €40 cheese platter, giving priority to this tasting over other dishes (such as appetizers). Out of 8 cheeses listed, there were only 5. We would have expected them to tell us before handing us the plate because we could have made another choice. The dishes in general are varied, with several vegetarian options, but there is still a gap between what they want to be and what they are. For example, lemon tagliolini taste like butter on the nose. Overall, good but not excellent. I hope you take this criticism as constructive. Good work

Questo locale è perfetto per un pranzo e cena a base di pesce.
Ho apprezzato la qualità del pesce crudo, il contrasto caldo/freddo del risotto e tutti i sapori.
Tartare abbondanti. Lo scrigno dorato ha chiuso in bellezza la serata.
Ottimi abbinamenti di vini.
Cura nel servizio e atmosfera rilassata del locale con luci soffuse.

Entrati per caso e senza prenotazione siamo stati accolti con premura dal proprietario che ci ha fatto preparare subito un tavolo per 10
Nonostante non l’avessimo richiesto ci servono subito un entree e del pane caldo di diverse specie con olio: davvero apprezzato.
Ma le cose più buone dovevano ancora arrivare: i primi gustosissimi e con accostamenti sublimi di terra e mare e poi un filetto di carne alto tre dita che si tagliava come il burro, davvero sublime!
Il dolce poi…… mmmmm ancora me lo ricordo in bocca per il sapore e la delicatezza…. Davvero tutto buono: eccellente!
Ci siamo complimentati con lo chef che abbiamo scoperto essere donna e con lo staf gentile e cordiale.
Ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità!

There is no trip to Puglia if you don't stop by Alex Ristorante in Lecce. Chef Alessandra Civilla's raw meat is cosmic! The chef's Acquerello risotto is unforgettable. Nice atmosphere, excellent selection of wines and champagne.

I share the previous opinion the cuisine is of very good quality, but the servers do not crack a smile, in no way intended, in no way recommended during our visit, there were several tables of 10 people and at no time did anyone care about to know if we needed anything. It’s a shame considering the culinary quality.
