Alex Ristorante In Lecce

On Monday evening, strolling through the streets of a lively city, we stopped for dinner at this splendid restaurant. We were immediately greeted with a smile and shown to our table. The menu was varied and the wine list excellent. The maître d', Antonio, was professional and friendly, recommending dishes that turned out to be excellent. The quality/price ratio was excellent, and we'll be back soon.

Overall, a good restaurant. I went with my girlfriend and we ordered two tartares, tagliolini with shrimp and mackerel tartare, a fish soup, and octopus. The ingredients are more than decent, but the tagliolini was less than mediocre: the lemon was missing, and neither was the shrimp. With a restaurant that aims to compete in the medium-high price range, I think it's fair to be critical. Not bad, but not excellent either.

Per la prima volta mi trovo in difficoltà a recensire un locale. L’ambiente non rispetta i miei gusti ma questo e’ soggettivo mi ha lasciato perplesso il televisore alla parete ma, per fortuna spento. Menu’ forse un po’ troppo ampio ma i piatti che abbiamo provato erano ben cucinati e presentati con materie prime di qualità. La lista dei vini e’ importante e, almeno sui bianchi pugliesi, con ricarichi accettabili. Qualche pecca nel servizio a volte confuso ed approssimativo come ad esempio riempire eccessivamente i bicchieri e versare il vino come se fosse, con tutto il rispetto, tavernello, oppure portare il conto quando ancora si sta finendo di cenare ma questo dipende dai diversi camerieri che si sono avvicendati al tavolo durante la serata. Tirando le somme non sono rimasto convinto e non tornerò anche se alla fine non posso dire esattamente il perché. Leggendo le ultime recensioni noto comunque che non sono stato l’unico ad avere qualche perplessità ed alla fine il mio voto è nella media delle stesse.

Locale nel centro città di Lecce , carino con anche tavoli all’esterno, personale molto Professionale e cortese piatti della tradizione e innovazione dagli antipasti a dolci specialità pesce crudo e cotto .
