We stopped here almost by chance after visiting Grifone di Vaia. It was a pleasant surprise. Very good food, very friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and reasonable prices. I recommend it.

We trusted other people's reviews and can only improve our rating. Welcoming place, very kind staff, always smiling. As for the food... wonderful cheek and excellent tagliatelle, both cooked and cooked with game sauce. I had two children, 10 and 11, who had the same opinion as me.

An excellent base for griffon vulture viewing. Parking is available, and the trail is about twenty minutes long for those who aren't particularly fit. The restaurant features typical local decor and the food is varied and not overly elaborate, but very good.

13/09/2025: On our hike from Ruffré to the Mendel Pass, we first passed the fairly busy Halbweg Hut. We then decided to continue a bit further to the Enzian Hut, and our decision was absolutely right. There, we received a very friendly welcome and were able to enjoy the fantastic food in peace. We also had a delicious elderflower spritzer made from homemade elderflower syrup. Highly recommended!
13/09/2025: The service was very friendly and polite, hence the 4 stars. However, the bacon dumpling soup tasted of nothing: The broth tasted like Maggie's broth, which only used half the amount of cubes recommended on the package, and the dumplings were slimy on the outside, as if they'd been individually wrapped in plastic wrap. Even the bacon in the dumplings tasted completely useless. We went there specifically because, based on a recommendation, we wanted to enjoy some hearty South Tyrolean cuisine again. What a shame.

13/09/2025: We stayed in September with my family. We loved our room: very beautiful, spacious, and clean; we also appreciated the welcome: friendly, kind, and yet professional. Dinner and breakfast were very good, featuring local dishes and products! Overall, an excellent property. Highly recommended!
