Agriturismo il Mirto In Sassari

We were there in October. We booked the agriturismo mainly because of the good reviews of the food. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The breakfast was a joke! Sorry! Where were the supposedly homemade baked goods? Sausage and cheese would have had to be paid extra, and 3 eggs cost 5 euros. Unfortunately, the lady at breakfast wasn't very attentive either. We're used to that from other agriturismos. Unfortunately, there was no dinner either. Only one lunch. That was OK. But unfortunately, nothing more. In contrast to breakfast, the service was very friendly and very attentive. We had completely different expectations regarding the food. The rooms were very clean, there was air conditioning/heating. The outdoor kitchenette was OK. The property is typical of Italian standards. We were happy to see the animals, and the view in the morning was very beautiful. The property is very remote, only accessible by car. But not far from Alghero.

We spent a long time looking for a place to eat truly authentic traditional Sardinian food — and we weren’t disappointed. A unique spot that, on the way there, made us think we might have gotten lost. A genuine “rustic” restaurant serving incredibly flavorful dishes. We didn’t order anything ourselves — the food just kept coming, from antipasti (appetizers) to ravioli di ricotta and the traditional porceddu arrosto (roasted suckling pig). Everything was simple and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! It made our first vacation in Sardinia truly special.

A wonderful experience. The place is welcoming, clean, tidy, and romantic. And the fairy lights at the entrance are really cute. I love fairy lights, they always add a magical touch to a place... if they're not flashing and multicolored. Excellent food; I ate divinely. A special thanks to Alessandro, a very kind, helpful, and always smiling guy (which is extremely important, smiles light up the world), and with a great talent for training dragonflies. Just one small flaw: the desserts were few and small. So I asked if I could have a second helping. "Filu ferru" was beautiful and powerful, just the way I like it. I've already recommended this agriturismo to several friends. And I'll be back soon. 💖

Super!!! Wonderful farmhouse, nestled in the Sardinian countryside: peace, quiet, and nature everywhere. The food is truly exceptional. The staff is always kind, helpful, and welcoming. For animal lovers, it's simply paradise: cats, dogs, sheep, donkeys, ponies, and many other four-legged friends with whom you can interact freely. The contact with the animals is authentic and spontaneous, a real added value. I highly recommend it ❤️
