Well! Never eaten so well with a business lunch menu. We went today which is Thursday. As a first risotto alla pilota with puntel, the second courses were many: boiled with peara', chicken steak, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, meatballs. Many side dishes: cooked and raw fennel, polenta, carrots, grepole, mustard with parmesan and much more. Menu at an amazing price. Rustic but spacious room with windows overlooking the lake. Super super recommended! Thanks so much to the managers!

Agriturismo Al Laghet ..Strada Soana 13 ..Porto Mantovano, this farmhouse..is located right in the heart of the Mincio Park, 7 km from Mantua. In this quiet village called Soave di Porto Mantovano..this structure can accommodate up to 100 people, and is completely immersed in the park surrounding the lake. The atmosphere here is family and the cuisine is based on Mantuan specialties, prepared with genuine products. Here at the table come ..agnolini in brodo, tortelli di zucca, risotto alla mantovana and many other dishes of your choice. Delicious grilled meat prepared outdoors, tagliata, fillets, Florentine steaks and skewers. All the meats come from their own farms.

Near the bike path, a few kilometers from Mantua, we found the Agriturismo al Laghet. A fixed lunch menu for €14 includes a choice of four first courses and various second courses with side dishes. The dishes were exquisite. A quaint restaurant on a property with a lake. Highly recommended.

23/02/2026: Truly exceptional pizza, the dessert is a treat, fast and friendly service, alternative and quiet atmosphere. I recommend it!
19/02/2026: A while ago, we returned to Castiglione for work and were downtown. We found this pizzeria open, but parking on the street is limited. Recently opened - vintage school-movie theater atmosphere. Honestly, we were hoping for much better - the dough wasn't the best - not crispy - the toppings weren't up to par - average quality. They seated us in the basement. It was cold, with a nauseating smell of damp, buzzing with people. I don't understand how they grant access to certain rooms without windows, and a steep staircase to get in and out. Not even an ashtray outside; colleagues had to use tissues to avoid throwing cigarette filters on the floor. They didn't charge us each, but rather the Roman way. I don't recommend it.
