I haven't visited the rooms so I can't comment. As for the food, it's definitely worth trying. Everything is excellent, reasonably priced, and the service is attentive and courteous. I've been there several times and will definitely return.

We just had dinner. The owner was very welcoming, the service was good, the food was good, and the price was fair. I recommend it.

It's still my favorite agriturismo when passing through. Excellent cuisine.

Ai Carconi is a farm that fully deserves five stars and is, without exaggeration, one of the best choices in the area near the exit for Lago Negro, in Basilicata. It's the kind of place you stumble upon by chance and end up wanting to return every time you pass by. The atmosphere is authentic, refined without being pretentious, and perfectly reflects the spirit of Lucanian hospitality. The staff is incredibly friendly, quick, and attentive, instantly putting you at ease and making you feel truly welcome. The dishes are plentiful and, above all, affordable, a surprising detail considering the quality of the ingredients and the attention to preparation. From pasta to meat, including side dishes, everything arrives rich in flavor and in generous portions that are completely satisfying. The dessert prepared by the owner's wife was one of the highlights of the meal: authentic, homemade, and simply delicious. The option to purchase local products, both near the farm and directly on site, is also greatly appreciated, an added bonus for those who enjoy taking home a souvenir of the area. Ai Carconi is a place where you eat well, spend a fair amount, and are treated divinely. It's an agriturismo we'll definitely return to.

We had a setback on our way back from Reggio Calabria to Milan by car. A friend called the owner to arrange a stay because we needed to get the car fixed. The owner, Giuseppe, was always kind and helpful with the whole family; our 4-year-old daughter was with us and she felt right at home. The room arrangement was excellent, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner were always plentiful, just like truckers eat. I highly recommend it; it's close to the Lagonegro junction.
