This place is just down the street from cousins. My cousin and niece brought me here to get authentic napolitean pizza. It was awesome.

It was quite a long walk from Naples Station, but it was worth it. The food was really delicious.
Invited by a friend who really knows about pizza "I can do it too 😅" I can confirm that I ate the best contemporary pizza of my life.

I traveled 14,000 kilometers to see him and interact with him, and he was very kind. His pizzas are incredible, no doubt about it.
There's a reason he's number one in the world. Unbeatable price and quality.

I've had the pleasure of trying Diego Vitagliano's creations at all of his locations in Naples, all of which were beyond delicious, but I can say without hesitation that Bagnoli was an extraordinary experience. The ingredients are of the highest quality, the dough is perfect, and the attention to detail is evident in every bite.
A special mention goes to the gluten-free options: finally, a product that isn't simply an "adaptation," but a product designed and crafted with the same care and quality as the traditional versions. The flavor, texture, and lightness are truly surprising.
Friendly and professional service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a great passion for their work. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

This award-winning pizzeria on Via Nuova Agnano in Bagnoli, visited for lunch by reservation.
The location features a large, modernly furnished room, featuring references to classic Neapolitan themes revisited with an artistic, contemporary twist. Completing the decor is a wall full of plaques and awards won over the years; a visible testament to a solid, enduring reputation.
The wait staff immediately escorted us to our table and were courteous and attentive to our guests' needs.
The menu offers a wide selection of pizzas with a variety of ingredients and doughs; you'll find both classic Neapolitan dough and other creations that focus on crispy dough or doughs more similar to pan pizzas. The choice is vast!
Rounding out the menu are various appetizers and desserts from the classic Neapolitan repertoire (with a few variations that add to the classics and pop up here and there).
Since it's my first time at this pizzeria, I opt for a classic pizza, but I'll have the opportunity to try a different type of pizza from one of the other diners accompanying me.
The food definitely gets a thumbs up; the pizza is delicious, with an excellent dough that respects pure Neapolitan pizza, and the ingredients are good and well-blended—everything is excellent!
The appetizers and desserts didn't disappoint either.
The price was higher than other established establishments in the city, likely due in part to the awards it's won and in part to the dining room's layout, which aims to provide a superior experience.
Is this a place I'd recommend? Absolutely!
Is the pizza a cut above the rest? Maybe not, but that's not a negative (if anything, it's a credit to the other excellent establishments in the area).

The Maradona of pizza!
I've been missing Maestro Diego Vitagliano for a while, and yesterday was the perfect opportunity to try his pizza, which climbed the Top 50 Pizzas list, winning a gold medal!
But let's take it one step at a time...
Majestic place. Large. With ovens and ovens in full view, practically "outside the room" (the pizzas were finished practically before everyone's eyes).
I also noticed the entrance that also leads to "Serendipity."
But that's another story...
Impeccable staff. Our entire order was taken under the guidance of the waiter, who not only gave us excellent advice but also served us, making sure everything was to our liking several times.
Now let's get to the dishes.
Bucatini frittata with fried garlic and oil that goes beyond all culinary logic. Illegal, however good!
Excellent battered cod. Light fried food and generous portions.
The pizzas are a food experience like few others (and anyone who comes here knows exactly what I mean).
The 4 Casi Napoletani (the pizza with which Vitagliano won first prize) is the perfect combination of innovation and personality. It's instantly recognizable among the many (also thanks to its electric cooking), and the choice of ingredients make it a one-of-a-kind dish.
And last but not least, the croccantino from Pasticceria Etoile (which I've known for years) is the perfect end to a practically perfect evening! ❤️
For two, with two draft beers, one still water, and two bitters, we spent about €70.
In short, after Maradona, this Diego is undoubtedly the namesake champion Naples needed!
I can't wait to go back! 🍕

The only problem is the parking outside, inside everything is in line with expectations

Burnt pizzas. The cat, in an effort to save time, gave birth to blind kids...the oven floor needs to be cleaned frequently. The oven temperature is too high.
