The pizzas, both with and without gluten, are delicious. The service is very fast: we had the pizza less than 10 minutes after ordering. Everything is fantastic!

I have been to Diego Vitagliano and the experience was really great. The place is very large, well-kept and above all very clean. You can immediately notice the attention to hygiene, not only in the rooms, but also on the part of the staff: the waiters were always available, attentive to cleanliness and also very friendly, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant.
A big plus is the vast gluten-free menu: the choice is really wide, both for appetizers and pizzas, and this is rare to find. I really appreciated that the gluten-free dishes arrived at the same time as the “normal” ones — a detail that really makes the difference, especially when you are in company.

Despite the excellent pizza, I leave this pizzeria with a bitter taste in my mouth.
Starting with the 3 EUR cover charge per person, which until now I had never experienced in any restaurant in Italy, not even those with a cotton tablecloth and napkin. Imagine here where they set the table with a paper placemat and napkin.
Then with great surprise I discover that all the craft beers on tap come from Trentino, as if there were no good local beer to accompany pizza in Campania. Furthermore, they tell me that the beer I order (Blonde Brenta) is sold out. I am forced to settle for another beer. It is only at the opening of the place at 7:30 pm, imagine if I order it later in the evening.
The prices are in line with the current trend, to charge more for drinks than the average for food.
If going out with family or friends and going to a pizzeria is a total experience, not just for food, here there is something that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

A nice pizzeria among those recognized by Gambero Rosso, well-renovated interiors, essential style with modern and tasteful furnishings. Simple but well-kept equipment, branded dishes. Menu with a wide choice of pizzas, appetizers and various fried foods. All very good and digestible. Kind and professional staff. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity. Better to call and book given the many people waiting outside the restaurant.

5 stars, without hesitation! This is simply the best pizza I have ever eaten. The semi-dried tomatoes add a delicious touch to the salad, and the burrata buffalo is simply exquisite. We tried the double-cooked Margherita “fritta e al forno”: a perfect balance between soft and crispy. We also had a Rustichelle with ricciatella: thin and ultra-crispy crust, topped with stracciata di buffalo, which harmonizes perfectly with the crunchiness of the salad. And what about the dessert “croccante al pistacchio”… simply divine.

Non è un caso che Diego Vitagliano sia stato recentemente posizionato al primo posto nella classifica della guida online Top 50 Pizza Italia ed al secondo nella Top 50 Pizza World.
Preciso che noi abbiamo però visitato il locale a via Santa Lucia a Chiaia.
La location è elegantissima con bei mattoncini a vista nelle mura e confortevoli tavolini. Anche la toilette era ampia e molto pulita.
Avevamo poco tempo quindi ci siamo focalizzati su due pizze. Ma che pizze!! Abbiamo preso la "Diavola" e la "Cremeria" (si vedano le foto per gli ingredienti): un impasto soffice, scioglievole in bocca, materie prime di altissima qualità, cottura perfetta, inventiva nella realizzazione.
Ottima birra ambrata alla spina.
Chi è di Napoli potrà obiettare sui prezzi (rispettivamente 12 e 13€ a pizza), visto che qui sono abituati a spendere poco per la pizza. Ma invece, secondo me, siamo perfettamente in linea col mercato, con la location, col numeroso personale dal servizio cortese e rapido, con la maestria pizzaiola e col genio ideativo che parte dalla tradizione per innovare sapientemente e incarna la definizione di "pizza napoletana contemporanea" (termine adesso assai diffuso ma spesso abusato).
Non vedo l'ora di tornarci per provare una vasta proposta non solo di pizze ma anche di fritti estremamente invitanti.
Insomma "nu' ddie 'e pizza"!!
P.S.: per le feste ha realizzato una serie di panettoni con lo scatolo ispirato alla tombola e aspetto di ricevere quello al caffè e caramello che ho ordinato e che, se poco poco si avvicina alle pizze, ci farà passare un Natale da ricordare.
