28/04/2024: We were staying in this town so it was easy to walk to. We were welcomed and treated so wonderfully. The staff were polite and spoke English well. Warm and intimate atmosphere.. cozy with candles lit. DELICIOUS food! Very small menu but we still felt like there were plenty of choices.

09/04/2024: Wir waren schon mehrmals im Turmwirt, doch diesmal waren wir richtig enttäuscht. Wir bekamen einen Lammbraten, Empfehlung des Hauses, sehr kleine Portion, wo dann die Hälfte aus Knochen und Flaxen bestand, auch geschmacklich nicht umwerfend. Nach Reklamation bekam mein Mann noch eine kleine Portion nach auch dieses nicht so zart, wie man es bei einem Preis von € 30.- (!!!) erwarten würde. Ossobuco um € 37.- ist sowieso nicht begreiflich. Auf der Homepage sind bei der Speisekarte sowieso keine Preise angeführt. Jetzt wissen wir auch warum. Wir gehen gerne in sehr teure Lokale, aber dann muss eben alles passen. Irgendwelche Auszeichnungen gibt es für den Turmwirt auch keine, die die Preise rechtfertigen würden. 5 Spargeltortelli mit 3 Stück Spargelspitzen um€ 18.- ist auch völlig überteuert. Auch der sehr einfache Haustein ist viel zu teuer. Leitungswasser wird mit € 3.- berechnet. Vor 3 Jahren waren wir geschmacklich sehr zufrieden und auch das Preisleistungsverhältniss war für die damalige Zeit in Ordnung.

22/05/2024: The best apricot dumplings! For years and every year it has been a must stop for us at this place just because of the apricot dumplings, not to mention the other dishes. Then the great terrace planted and cared for with so much love, lemon trees of all kinds, tangerine trees, flowers, etc. a dream...for us the most beautiful tavern in South Tyrol...lovely owners, very attentive and family-run! The view is a dream! We love coming to you again and again! Thank you, thank you and thank you! Keep it up!

19/05/2024: Nice place to stop off on the Marlingen Waalweg. The food was great, we had spinach dumplings and apricot dumplings. Both were very tasty. When the weather is nice, the terrace is unbeatable. So beautiful between the citrus trees with a view of the valley.

28/02/2024: Food wonderful. Service doesn't work at all. I have the feeling that this lady only likes local customers. When we came in she didn't even greet us. We could have joined other guests but she didn't want that. Super unfriendly.

30/03/2024: Beautiful hotel. Wonderful attentive staff. So nice to have dinner in the hotel every night after a long day of skiing. The menu changed everyday.

30/03/2024: Granbaita is always a certainty. Beautiful structure and well organised. This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel and we will certainly return. We thank all the staff who contributed to making our stay exceptional, from the chefs to the girls at the reception. In particular, thanks to Alice who always served us with care and kindness and to the chef from Naples who delighted us with his friendliness and his dishes. Thanks also to the shuttle guys for their precious service. On the day of departure we had problems with the car and the girls at the reception immediately took steps to find a solution. 06/05/2024: Top gastronomy and a beautiful area in the garden with a fantastic view. A place where you like to stay longer. Come every year and have never been disappointed. Unfortunately I cannot provide any information about the rooms/overnight stays. We hike there and enjoy life.

02/05/2024: We were in the restaurant, so can't comment on the rooms. It is located about 15 minutes from Nalles in the mountains above. The journey is therefore a bit difficult, but the view from above is of course sensational. And the food too! We had soup, various asparagus dishes and dessert. Everything was great, and visually very nicely presented. The dessert with yogurt and white chocolate was also very creative and elaborate. A dream! The service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely come back.

27/12/2023: Maybe it's because it's at the top of a very tiring stretch, maybe it's because of the beautiful view it offers, maybe it's because the terrace was exposed to a beautiful sun, maybe it's because the Sacher torte was sublime... this little refuge is my all-time favorite , I left a piece of my heart there <3

29/11/2023: Set in an almost "lunar" basin, it enjoys breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful Sesto Dolomites. It is one of the refuges you find if you follow the trekking/circular tour that starts from Val Viscalina. Otherwise, to get there there are various more or less demanding paths that you can choose based on your level of training and athletic preparation... (In this regard, I recommend a detailed hiking map of lengths and travel times).

24/03/2024: We reserved a table in the restaurant and when we arrived they couldn't find our reservation - and they didn't even apologize, as if it was our fault. And we even had a confirmation email of our reservation with us. What disappointed us was not the actual problem with the reservation, but the way we were treated.
