Rifugio Pian Di Cengia - Büllelejochhütte In Sesto

Maybe it's because it's at the top of a very tiring stretch, maybe it's because of the beautiful view it offers, maybe it's because the terrace was exposed to a beautiful sun, maybe it's because the Sacher torte was sublime... this little refuge is my all-time favorite , I left a piece of my heart there <3

Set in an almost "lunar" basin, it enjoys breathtaking views of some of the most beautiful Sesto Dolomites. It is one of the refuges you find if you follow the trekking/circular tour that starts from Val Viscalina. Otherwise, to get there there are various more or less demanding paths that you can choose based on your level of training and athletic preparation... (In this regard, I recommend a detailed hiking map of lengths and travel times).

Nach einer langen Wanderung kann man hier wunderbar Essen. Es hat super geschmeckt. Weiter so...

Durante un'escursione intorno alle 3 cime di Lavaredo, abbiamo fatto una deviazione per raggiungere con non poca fatica questo rifugio. Che dire? Semplicemente stupendo, sbucando dal sentiero lo si scorge incastonato tra le rocce dall'apparenza quasi fiabesca. La sola vista della struttura ripaga ampiamente della fatica affrontata per raggiungerlo. Abbiamo gustato tagliere di salumi tipici tirolesi, gli immancabili canederli (tassativamente in brodo) nonchè una generosa porzione di strudel di mele, il tutto annaffiato da abbondante birra alla spina weizen. Tutto buonissimo con prezzi assolutamente in linea, specialmente in considerazione della posizione remota del rifugio. Servizio rapido e cortese. Sicuramente ci torneremo.

Il rifugio è piccolo, pulitissimo e gestito con grande passione che si legge in tutti i dettagli: l’arredamento curato, la cena raffinata e la colazione di altissima qualità. Andare a letto passando per la botola è un’esperienza unica.
