16/09/2025: Stunning location, nestled in the Mugello hills with a breathtaking view. I had lunch with an appetizer and main course, and everything I ate was delicious! The dessert (millefoglie with ricotta cream and pears) was truly superb! The girls were so kind, I'll definitely be back!

21/07/2025: We stopped along the road and saw this restaurant that looks a bit retro! Well, I have to say we really enjoyed the quick and fast service. The portions were definitely a bit over the top, but they were uniquely delicious. The first course was potato tortelli with ragù and homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. For the second course, we had a fabulous 1300g steak, fried artichokes, and chips. Dessert, wine, water, and coffee were all included. It's really true that to rediscover old habits, you have to leave the city and find these authentic places, still with families cooking and children taking orders. Thank you, Mrs. Iolanda, I hope your restaurant always stays like this!

28/07/2025: Come ogni anno torniamo sempre alla trattoria dalla Santina e come sempre non ci delude mai. Tutto ottimo dagli antipasti ai primi passando per i secondi e concludendo con dei favolosi dolci. Tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa che non è scontato al giorno d’oggi. Poi Duccio come sempre ti accoglie e ti fa sentire in famiglia.

14/06/2025: Few dishes but genuine and homemade. The menu always changes and every time it is a pleasant surprise. We have always had a great time thanks also to Duccio, a Tuscan host who has now become a friend.

28/08/2025: A very well-maintained farmhouse apartment with a kitchen and a relaxing veranda. Lovely outdoor dining area, excellent food, and good service. The location is a bit remote, accessible by car or bus.

14/08/2025: Excellent location, right in the town square. The room was standard, fairly clean, but a towel was missing, and a bar of soap was already opened. But the biggest problem was the lack of breakfast. We'd mentioned that one of us ate a savory breakfast, but the morning clerk didn't know, so she brought a single croissant and then half a schiacciatina from the next door. The coffee and cappuccino were poor.

07/10/2025: I was very satisfied with the food and service. I had the grilled meat, and it was plentiful and tasty. It's a shame the location is a bit too "rustic," but that's okay.

31/08/2025: This place has the look of a typical old-fashioned bar, the kind that has sadly given way to lounges and the like. We stopped for a coffee ☕ before heading to Firenzuola, sitting outside at one of the tables along the main road (the former Strada statale 610 Selice or Montanara Imolese, to be precise). The stretch of road where this establishment is located is very picturesque; a few meters ahead, in fact, a bridge over the Santerno River marks the border between the municipalities of Firenzuola and Castel del Rio (and therefore also between two different provinces and regions), all in the splendid landscape of the Santerno valley. If I'm not mistaken, there should also be rooms 🛏 for overnight stays on site. In any case, the coffee is good 😋 ☕ (also on the menu for only 1 euro 💶) and the owner is kind 👩🏻. Across the street, a small parking lot 🅿️ offers a few parking spaces 🚘. RECOMMENDED 👍.
