03/10/2025: Food was great. We had all of their vegetarian dishes (3 of them, lol) and they were good. Waitress was super helpful. Though the kitchen was really slow (busy day?)

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, this was a disappointment for us in South Tyrol, a region rich in culinary delights. 1. The first course arrived BEFORE the first drink! We were very punctual, as the chef had requested, so it couldn't have been our fault. He asked us three times (!) which sparkling wine we wanted as an aperitif. It can happen that you forget it on the way out, but then the chef simply has to realize that we haven't had anything to drink yet before he starts on the first course for everyone. 2. The risotto (€19 extra) was recommended to us as a signature dish, but we declined, thinking it might be too much for us. The chef then came back and quite emphatically recommended the risotto, so we almost felt compelled to order it for his sake, at least to share. In retrospect, it was a good idea to fill us up; it tasted very good, although it was no longer creamy, but had already started to thicken slightly. So it wasn't freshly prepared, but was probably already prepared in a bowl and kept warm. You can do it that way, but you can also do it better. 3. The roast chicken broth was delicious and made you want more. Unfortunately, the following courses up to dessert couldn't quite match the quality. The chicken skin on the crème brûlée was barely noticeable, compared to the fish underneath. The venison stroganoff was quite good, but the sauce was rather poor in flavor, lacking depth, acidity, and complexity. It felt like the sauce was thickened with starch, but that could be done differently, especially at the level the chef is obviously aiming for. 4. They should reconsider whether serving most of the savory courses in bowls is really such a great idea. If they stick with this, spoons should be provided in the future so you can get everything out. 5. The team obviously tried to serve all the courses quickly; by the end, you had the feeling they wanted to move as quickly as possible. Maybe that was just our feeling. We went to the Blaue Traube with friends a few years ago, before the "concept" for evening meals had yet to emerge, and we were very impressed; it stayed with us for a long time. Unfortunately, the food didn't impress us this time; there are plenty of better restaurants in the region.

24/09/2025: Very good and very good service! We ate there two days in a row during our short vacation because we enjoyed the food so much! Our vegetarian requests were also accommodated easily and very friendly. ☺️ Highly recommended!

18/09/2025: Food is delicious, Max the owner is a lovely person that you should meet. Starters red prawn carpaccio and beef carpaccio. Primo, truffle pasta and fusilloni with yellow tomatoes. Secondi: suckling pig and cod fish. All recommended highly. And the divine wine, Tenuta San Vincenti.

17/09/2025: Soul Kitchen is a slightly peculiar name for this restaurant in that it doesn't serve up nonna's vintage (a)typical Reggae Ragu recipes, but rather a set of very good fine dining-esque dishes with modern twists to those roots. Well presented, well cooked and well balanced; the chef obviously knows what he is doing & with such great ingredients to hand, it made for a delicious dinner. Great bread too. Personally, I would tweak the panna cotta slightly by grating the coconut & adding a vibrant zesty drizzle, but other than that there is little to fault.

03/10/2025: I'm a bit perplexed. A truly beautiful location, nothing to add, just lots of compliments. But the Michelin star, combined with such a location, raises expectations. The 7-course tasting menu costs €110 per person, rising to €135 with wine pairings. The wines are truly excellent; it's clear there's been a lot of thought put into pairing them with the dishes. But what's perplexing are the dishes themselves: the dishes were bland, and there was absolutely no salt, and I don't understand how a restaurant like this could have such a lack. It seems, however, that this is precisely the chef's philosophy: using about 35% less salt in the dishes, using special cooking techniques to extract the salt directly from the vegetables. I think this information should be written on the menu, otherwise diners will be left feeling confused. Another thing that's a bit surprising is the price of the cheese platter: a trolley full of very interesting cheeses with the option to try them all. Too bad this was reflected in the final bill, an extra €90, €30 per platter (even though we ordered two). However, the standout dish is the egg with pecorino foam and a comfit cherry tomato base. So, that leaves a big question mark; the philosophy is nice, even just the fact that you never eat the same thing again, but honestly, it doesn't make me want to say "I'd go back."

24/09/2025: For our 50th wedding anniversary, our children gave us a dinner at the Dolce Stil Novo restaurant at the Reggia di Venaria Reale. It was a wonderful experience. We received the utmost attention from all the staff, including Chef Alfredo Russo, who came to welcome us. We enjoyed a wide variety of delicacies, from the aperitif to the final digestif. Every dish was carefully prepared and paired with well-balanced, high-quality wines. It was an experience we'd love to repeat in the future. Our heartfelt congratulations. Vilma and Giuseppe

28/09/2025: We arrived before the kitchen opened, so they gave us cold dishes, salad with burrata and a platter of cold cuts, very good

27/09/2025: About a month ago, we had both breakfast and lunch there and were satisfied on both occasions. The products used are fresh and authentic, and handled with great care. Try the pici alla gricia, their original panzanella, and their robust and fragrant olive oil. The coffee is also excellent. The staff is friendly and courteous, and the place is centrally located. Definitely recommended.

30/09/2025: There are no words to describe the experience we've enjoyed at this restaurant for years. Each time, they amaze us with new offerings, sophisticated and refined flavors, and unexpected pairings that captivate those who love culinary innovation. A sensory journey that engages and surprises, accompanied by a simply excellent selection of wines. Il Rudere is much more than a restaurant: it's an experience that leaves its mark, every time. For us, it's simply home. A safe haven where we can retreat whenever we want to delight our palate with exciting seafood cuisine.

11/09/2025: We decided to book a dinner reservation for my birthday at this fantastic restaurant, not knowing it and relying solely on the reviews we'd read. What can I say...it was a MAGICAL evening! We tried the "rudere" appetizer and the tuna tartare, which were highly recommended. I've never had tuna this good! The first courses were spectacular, offering an explosion of flavor from the first bite. My compliments to the chef and the waiter, who was super kind and courteous, ready to explain each course he served. Thank you both for a fantastic evening! Prices were average. See you next time!!

01/09/2025: Amazing. The chef is very kind and attentive. We got the prosciutto/mozzarella, lamb(hunter style) and broccoli fettuccine. Then for dinner the pannacotta which was the perfect way to end the dinner. Some of the best food we have had in Rome area so far. Well priced. Don’t pass it up! 🩷

Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and offered the freedom to choose any table, setting the tone for a relaxed and personalized dining experience. One of the standout aspects of the evening was the staff's knowledge and assistance in pairing the perfect wines to complement our meal. Their recommendations enhanced each dish, with the octopus being particularly memorable—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Opting for the five-course tasting menu, we were not disappointed. Every dish was creative and delicious, offering a refreshing departure from the usual pizza and pasta. The diversity of flavors and attention to detail in each course truly showcased the chef’s talents. To top it off, the staff went above and beyond by helping us arrange a taxi back to our hotel, making the entire evening seamless and stress-free. In short, Io Osteria Personale provided a unique and delightful dining experience that we totally recommend to anyone looking for a break from the traditional Italian fare.
