They are the perfect duo to make this place unique. Nothing here is commercial, from the drinks to the wines. In a world where appearances prevail over everything, here being has a central place. 26/07/2026: We went in quite hungry and left with very positive reviews. 😄 The best thing about the restaurant, without a doubt, is the atmosphere. The decor is very tasteful, the place is cool and airy (something that's appreciated in Naples), and the location is perfect, right next to the Archaeological Museum. As for the food, I think it could be a little better. The pasta was so understated it practically had to be passed around the table. The goat cheese had good flavor, but the inside was a bit dry. And the beef tartare arrived with a very plain flavor… perhaps too plain: a little dressing would have been wonderful, and the portion size left us wanting a couple more spoonfuls. The service was adequate, nothing special, but it did the job. In short, it's a place I would go back to for the atmosphere and the location. If the cuisine takes a small step forward, it could become a highly recommended stop.

25/07/2026: Fantastic family dinner (with a 1-year-old in tow). ​The staff is impeccable: professional, friendly, and never intrusive. They took wonderful care of our son (they even gave him a toy car to play with), allowing us to enjoy the evening in complete relaxation. ​The highest quality gourmet food, beautifully executed. Perfectly cooked octopus and the gazpacho with scallops was simply divine. ​Warm service, excellent ingredients, and a wonderful memory. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

The service is polite, attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. Clearly above many Michelin-starred establishments. Overall, the quality-price ratio is among the best you'll find. Go there.

21/07/2026: We were there as a family and wanted to eat focaccia. What a find!!! A little gem that deserves to be known: excellent focaccia and the owner was wonderful! French tourists, stop here...it's simply fantastic!!

13/07/2026: Eight dishes and a bottle of wine for €60 per person is never a bad deal. When you factor in the creativity, the hard work and the creativity in the food - it becomes a bargain. 慢工出细活 - slow work yields fine products. Sous vide chicken tempura, an unbelievable burnt onion and liquorice linguine (🤯), insanely tender veal tongue. Some really incredible dishes. Food made with love, where you can feel the passion Gabriele has for proper cooking. This place makes a welcome break from traditional trattoria or osteria cooking. This is the kind of spot I’d visit first day every time I come back to Florence and will recommend to every person who visits.

10/08/2026: A truly memorable evening at Osteria di Passignano. We started with a fascinating tour of the historic cellars, followed by an excellent tasting menu with beautifully matched wines. The food was exceptional, but it was the combination of the setting, the wine, the service and the sense of history that made the evening feel so special. The wine shop is a treasure trove of wonderful vintages many not available for general retail sale. Well worth a splurge. A wonderful Tuscan experience and one we’ll remember for a long time.

The experience was further enhanced by the expert presentation of the dishes by the lovely Signora Marta Baroni and the equally lovely waiters Andrea and Giancarlo: they made us feel special. All this in a setting where even the smallest detail is carefully considered, ensuring that guests feel pampered while enjoying a relaxing, out-of-this-world view...

We had the opportunity to try both one of the tasting menus offered and several à la carte dishes, finding precise, well-executed cuisine that showcases the finest ingredients with balance. A special mention goes to the spaghetti with sea urchins: a dish that captivates with its intensity, balance, and clean flavors, a must-try. The presentation is also meticulously crafted, with attentive, yet unobtrusive service. The elegant and pleasant location completes a gastronomic experience that convinced us in every way. A restaurant definitely worth discovering.
