29/12/2025: An excellent dining experience from beginning to end.
Every course was carefully executed, from the appetizers through the primi and main dishes, followed by a well-finished dessert and coffee. The kitchen clearly values quality ingredients and precise technique, resulting in dishes that are both flavorful and balanced.
The mushroom-focused plates were particularly memorable and more than compensated for having missed mushroom season earlier in the year. Nothing felt overworked or excessive — just thoughtful, seasonal cooking done well.
A restaurant worth returning to, especially when porcini mushrooms are back in season.

17/12/2025: Due to a traffic jam on the highway, we decide to exit at Berceto for lunch and head to the Ca' Mari inn, which none of us had heard of. It's an iconic place on a large, green, tree-filled plateau with a classic little church. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're at grandma's: the stove, the furnishings, the tables, the tablecloths... Everything makes you feel warmly welcomed. The friendly lady explains a simple menu with intriguing dishes. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioli with goose ragù are memorable. The goose breast, beef fillet, and picanha are all delicious. The price is fair.

24/09/2025: Great stop on the Via Francigena in this building beautifully restored by a charming young couple, decorated with a dream terrace with breathtaking views of the mountain. Perfect dinner, perfect rooms, all Italian design! Even the dog Luna and the nameless kitten are there! We highly recommend it to all walkers and non-walkers!

17/11/2025: A great pit stop on the way to the sea.
We enjoyed excellent dishes balanced between the mountains (mushroom tagliatelle) and the Lunigiana (testaroli), and an equally delicious pork fillet with Chianti. The owner was friendly and chatty. The prices were fair, and... we'll definitely be back. A tip: while you're there, wander over to the Romanesque cathedral dedicated to San Moderanno. It's worth it!

26/12/2025: Looking for a good place on the road to Chioggia, in Santo Stefano, we tried this restaurant and were really pleased with both the food and the selection, as well as the excellent service. I work in the same field, though not directly and in a very different location (themed restaurant, hospitality), so I'd say we struck gold by stopping here.
The only downside was that the waitress cleared the table very quickly and asked what we wanted for coffee. After suggesting we'd have it later, she turned around and asked again a minute later (and they were bringing first courses to two tables, so it wasn't too late). That, especially considering where I work, would have been taken very, very badly.
Otherwise, highly recommended. Stop by.
20/12/2025: We go there often and enjoy it. The staff is excellent and courteous. The atmosphere is warm and well-maintained. The food is very good, both in the restaurant and in the pizzeria. Prices are average. Also recommended for a business lunch!

17/01/2026: Dinner with generous, excellent-quality dishes; two factors that more than justify the price. Those who complain about the high prices fail to appreciate the true value of the quality of the dishes served. Exceptional beer. Very courteous and fast service. The only flaw is the annoying reverberation, caused by poorly trained technicians who didn't recommend soundproofing materials like raw clay during the renovation.

12/07/2025: My favorite bar, an outdoor setting shaded by the horse chestnut trees behind the church and in front of the fountain, a beautiful setting immersed in nature and history, right in the center of town. Hearty aperitifs, good beer, delicious ice cream. Ahhh, I'm home!

27/10/2025: Had lunch on a Sunday at lunchtime, no waiting and this makes you think that the food is perhaps kept warm or reheated, abundant dishes but the menu is told verbally and when you pay there is the unpleasant surprise that for being a trattoria it has restaurant prices
21/09/2025: We had a VERY good meal, and we thought the price was completely reasonable. We would come back in a heartbeat. ☺️
P.S. I don't understand the other reviews... we were given a menu and knew exactly how much everything cost.

09/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in famiglia di sabato in questo ristorante. Il locale è molto carino e accogliente, ideale per una pausa conviviale. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti e secondi; la qualità del cibo è nella media, niente di eccezionale, ma comunque soddisfacente. Tuttavia, ritengo che il prezzo sia eccessivo rispetto alla qualità offerta. Il servizio è semplice e senza particolari attenzioni.

Sono stata con colleghi una domenica a pranzo e sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla qualità dei prodotti. La pizza cotta alla stessa maniera con cui si preparano i testaroli,
24/04/2025: bel posto caratteristico dentro un paesetto di montagna tutto restaurato, pizza cotta nei testi di ghisa come una volta buonissima ,bella lievitata e leggera...lo consiglio veramente da provare e consigliare!
