02/04/2026: If you're traveling along the highway and want to take a wonderful break surrounded by nature, in a restaurant with a family atmosphere and delicious, plentiful dishes, it's worth taking the exit to Berceto... following a small road in the middle of the woods you arrive.... WONDERFUL
02/04/2026: We went there last night, on a Friday. The place is on the road going towards Corchia. I've always passed by on my way up there but never stopped. It's informal but well-kept. The diners are very helpful and the service is very quick. We ordered two fried mushrooms, a stuffed mushroom, and venison ossobuco with caramelized onion (off the menu). The portions are just right and everything was delicious. We also had a nice bottle of wine, two desserts, and water. Totalling around €40 per person, let's say the price is fair for everything. I highly recommend this place for porcini mushrooms and other dishes.

17/12/2025: Due to a traffic jam on the highway, we decide to exit at Berceto for lunch and head to the Ca' Mari inn, which none of us had heard of. It's an iconic place on a large, green, tree-filled plateau with a classic little church. As soon as you enter, you feel like you're at grandma's: the stove, the furnishings, the tables, the tablecloths... Everything makes you feel warmly welcomed. The friendly lady explains a simple menu with intriguing dishes. The tagliatelle with mushrooms and ravioli with goose ragù are memorable. The goose breast, beef fillet, and picanha are all delicious. The price is fair.

29/03/2026: Very nice place, you feel right at home. Very good pizza and mixed platter with really high-quality cured meats. Fantastic welcome. My boyfriend and I had a really good time.

The dogs and cats were so cute ☺️
Accommodation in Ostello Della Cisa was closed in winter, so the owner helped me drive to Passo della Cisa and back to stay another day. The next day, he drove me back down the mountain to Pontremoli.

14/03/2026: Two girls, perhaps new to the restaurant. There's no menu (intolerances, vegan options, and allergen list not included). Beer list? Not even a single one, just a leaflet in the entire place (it was on my table, but they took it away to give to others). Long preparation times, 25 minutes for a burger, with no bun for a burger 😆 and two slices of unknown bread. I wanted another beer, but the effort of ordering it made me change my mind.

17/01/2026: Dinner with generous, excellent-quality dishes; two factors that more than justify the price. Those who complain about the high prices fail to appreciate the true value of the quality of the dishes served. Exceptional beer. Very courteous and fast service. The only flaw is the annoying reverberation, caused by poorly trained technicians who didn't recommend soundproofing materials like raw clay during the renovation.

12/07/2025: My favorite bar, an outdoor setting shaded by the horse chestnut trees behind the church and in front of the fountain, a beautiful setting immersed in nature and history, right in the center of town. Hearty aperitifs, good beer, delicious ice cream. Ahhh, I'm home!

27/10/2025: Had lunch on a Sunday at lunchtime, no waiting and this makes you think that the food is perhaps kept warm or reheated, abundant dishes but the menu is told verbally and when you pay there is the unpleasant surprise that for being a trattoria it has restaurant prices
21/09/2025: We had a VERY good meal, and we thought the price was completely reasonable. We would come back in a heartbeat. ☺️
P.S. I don't understand the other reviews... we were given a menu and knew exactly how much everything cost.

09/07/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in famiglia di sabato in questo ristorante. Il locale è molto carino e accogliente, ideale per una pausa conviviale. Abbiamo ordinato antipasti e secondi; la qualità del cibo è nella media, niente di eccezionale, ma comunque soddisfacente. Tuttavia, ritengo che il prezzo sia eccessivo rispetto alla qualità offerta. Il servizio è semplice e senza particolari attenzioni.

Sono stata con colleghi una domenica a pranzo e sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla qualità dei prodotti. La pizza cotta alla stessa maniera con cui si preparano i testaroli,
24/04/2025: bel posto caratteristico dentro un paesetto di montagna tutto restaurato, pizza cotta nei testi di ghisa come una volta buonissima ,bella lievitata e leggera...lo consiglio veramente da provare e consigliare!

12/10/2024: Non ho mai avuto un trattamento così indegno, seduto alle 13:20 abbiamo ricevuto i primi crostini al sapore di funghi alle 14:40.Dall'antipasto al dolce porzioni a dir poco risicate se non ridicole. Una tavola da 10 persone ha ricevuto 3 piattini di crostini e altrettanti di polenta fritta, il primo costituito da 3 piattini mono porzioni di tagliolini ai funghi e per secondo n°1 pezzetto di fungo fritto a testa e un assaggio di funghi trifolati.... Ma il top del pranzo è costituito da 2 bistecche da loro chiamate fiorentine(sempre per 10 persone)del peso non maggiore ai 4 hg alle quali è stato tolto la parte del filetto(come se la gente sia scema da non accorgersene).... Qualcuno ha avuto il coraggio di ordinare dei dolci del tutto mediocri (8, 5 euro cadauno)..... Io credo che qui ai sia oltrepassato il limite della decenza perché non essere in grado di fornire un servizio mi può stare bene(uno cambia locale in futuro) ma essere preso in giro per 55 euro a testa credo che sia parecchio eccessivo
