22/08/2026: Five stars aren't enough for the experience at Manubiola. Carefully crafted, succulent, and beautifully presented dishes surprise with their rich flavors and unexpected presence (see the fragrant truffles, along with the excellent mushrooms). To top it all off, a dessert menu so well-crafted... we chose to try two!

19/08/2026: We're giving it 5 stars because it's the best we can get. Today, we had a superb lunch: two tagliolini with porcini mushrooms and speck and truffle, delicious fried mushrooms, and a fantastic zuppa inglese. Service was fast and very friendly. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended; we'll be back as soon as we can.

25/08/2026: We ate lunch in the dining room. We started with appetizers of local cured meats and continued with a slice of beef with porcini mushrooms. With the staff's advice, we moved on to dessert with homemade cakes and gelato. What can I say? Everything was delicious, and they paid great attention to food intolerances (both my mother and I are gluten intolerant), recommending dishes that were suitable for us. We'll definitely be back.

23/08/2026: I had lunch at Trattoria Locanda Pasquinelli, located in the charming village of Berceto, with my wife and another local couple who introduced us to this little place where the food is truly delicious. It was a wonderful experience at a restaurant that is a must-try for those who love good food. The menu offered at the time—we don't know if it's seasonal—focused primarily on mushrooms and meat. The pasta and desserts are homemade, and the simple, familiar menu makes you want to try everything. We didn't photograph every dish, but we found everything we chose to be truly authentic and excellent. Also noteworthy is the great attention to food intolerances: the staff was knowledgeable and reassuring, ensuring a safe meal without sacrificing flavor. To sweeten the end of the meal, a special mention goes to the torta della nonna, which was truly excellent. The interior is warm, welcoming, and well-kept, and there's also a lovely outdoor space surrounded by greenery, ideal for dining al fresco. The atmosphere is relaxing and familiar, complemented by friendly, kind, and professional staff. Highly recommended! A must-visit in the heart of Berceto for those seeking authentic dishes and exceptional customer service. We will definitely be back.

22/08/2026: This inn is a gem! The setting is incredibly relaxing, in an old farmhouse with a small church on a hill in front. Excellent food and super friendly service. The tagliatelle with hare ragù and the saffron gnocchi on a cream of confit tomato were both delicious.

18/02/2026: Taiwanese people pilgrimage to Europe in winter (Via Francigena) Accommodation in Cavazzola Very delicious vegetarian dinner and breakfast Slept very warmly and comfortably The dogs and cats were so cute ☺️ Accommodation in Ostello Della Cisa was closed in winter, so the owner helped me drive to Passo della Cisa and back to stay another day. The next day, he drove me back down the mountain to Pontremoli.

16/06/2026: The staff looked after us so well. It more than exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly and go over and above. For us it was like home away from home. We took the cookery class which was great also We are already planning to see when we can return again soon.

10/06/2026: We had an incredible stay and would highly recommend it. From start to finish, Gabriella and her team were outstanding—extremely responsive before our arrival and always available to answer questions. She helped make reservations at restaurants, received Amazon orders we shipped prior to our stay and ensured we had everything we needed, which was so appreciated when traveling with a baby. The villa itself was beautiful and very spacious for our group of six adults and a baby. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool was a highlight—well-maintained and peaceful. One of the biggest conveniences was the on-site restaurant. Having a high-quality dining option right there made everything so easy, and the meals did not disappoint. Plus, the villa is just a short drive to town, making it easy to explore the surrounding area whenever we wanted. Overall, this was a fantastic experience—great location, exceptional service, and a wonderful property. We would absolutely stay here again!

23/08/2026: Terrible experience. I happened upon this place shortly before Ferragosto (August 15th) and had to wait over an hour for a pizza. Despite the wait (which gave me hope for a good product, given that other customers were also patiently waiting), the pizza turned out to be a disaster: thin, tough, and with cooked ham that had a decidedly unpleasant smell. The place is probably only open because it's the only pizzeria for dozens of kilometers, but the time management and the quality of the ingredients are unacceptable. Highly not recommended.
