18/01/2026: We were a group of 8 people. We didn't have a reservation and it was a Saturday night. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they told us to come back in an hour and we got a table. The staff is very friendly, the food is fantastic!!! We had cold appetizers, i.e. prosciutto, seafood as a hot appetizer and then we went for steaks which I definitely recommend, despite the fact that they are available everywhere. They were really top notch here. All the food was excellent. The ambiance is authentic and relaxed which suited us..

15/01/2026: What can I say? A place as beautiful as the museum and as delicious as few others! An experience with frontier restaurants like this has left me with wonderful memories and pleasure for the high professionalism and quality. The polenta and mushroom appetizer and then Hungarian guliasch with half a red wine were more than enough to fill me up, but next time I'll have 750 wine to relax better. The baked cheesecake was also good, although I was hoping for an apple pie or strudel, etc. Until next time, in short. Well done. Thanks.

28/12/2025: Enrico is a true SUPERMAN! He manages "EVERYTHING... HIMSELF"... but... the service is impeccable... the food is spectacular... the value for money... very good. As we went to pay, we asked him if... at least in the kitchen... there was someone to help him, and his peremptory response confirming that he was the only one setting the table, taking orders, and serving the food, all of which was prepared by him, truly... surprised us. Smiling, kind, extremely efficient... pure energy. I wholeheartedly recommend him!!!

16/09/2025: We stopped by chance. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the menu offers a decent number of courses. The ingredients and preparation are top-quality. If it's on the menu, I recommend the liver pâté with figs and toasted brioche, and the rabbit. The bread and chocolate cake is excellent. The price is in line with the quality.

16/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, visiting a customer who was chosen because it was on the street. It was a pleasant surprise. A Slow Food Presidium, we ate chicken liver pâté with figs and spaghetti with white duck ragù. Delicious.

11/02/2026: The place is spotlessly clean and well-kept. Friendly service and excellent food. We ordered two first courses, two second courses, a side dish, two waters, a half-liter of wine, and two coffees. A beautiful fireplace. Fairly priced.

03/02/2026: Family-run restaurant serving traditional cuisine. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food. I recommend the mixed grill, which is very good. I personally had the pleasure of sitting around the lit larin after lunch and listening to the history of the place. A truly beautiful and authentic experience.

10/01/2026: The service is non-existent... Unfortunately, my experience at Al Zuc in Udine didn't live up to expectations. The place is cute and the atmosphere pleasant, but the service was slow and inattentive. The dishes were average, nothing special, and for the price, I definitely expected more. Some dishes arrived lukewarm, and there was a lack of attention to detail. Overall, it wasn't a bad place, but it wasn't something that would make me want to return either.

19/01/2026: I returned after more than twenty years, and it remains one of the best restaurants in the province: a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent meat cooked over the embers of the fireplace in the dining room, and delicious first courses and appetizers. Excellent selection of house and vintage wines. Very fair prices. Friendly and attentive staff. I'll be back!

09/01/2026: Friendly staff and truly wonderful atmosphere. The food was perfect, from appetizers to main courses, but especially the chicken alla diavolo, which was incredibly good! Everything was fantastic.

22/01/2026: I go there often, both for work and private occasions. The pizzas are very good, especially the meat-based main courses.

18/01/2026: We're not there yet. There are six of us, and we live a few kilometers away from the restaurant. We made a reservation for dinner at 8:45 PM. I arrive at the correct time, go in, and ask a girl at the entrance for information. She can't tell me anything about the reservation and leaves. So, realizing I'm not being counted, I decide to go deeper into the restaurant to look for a table on my own. I continue to be ignored. I finally ask a waitress about the reservation, who tells me that the people who had come from further away had called to say they'd be a few minutes late, and leaves me again in the middle of the room, without letting me sit. I return to the entrance and find the other people in the group, who arrived no more than seven minutes late from their reservation, with another waitress telling them that, since we arrived late, they'd already given our table to another group and we'd have to wait. Through all this, I WAS THERE AT THE CORRECT TIME. Evidently, they poorly managed the table management regardless of our arrival, treating us rudely and blaming our supposed tardiness. (I'm not even mentioning the pizzas that arrived forty minutes after we ordered them and were burned.)

27/01/2026: It was a wonderful day with 10 young friends... Organized specifically to meet at the restaurant on Sunday for lunch, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. We found exactly what we were looking for. Kudos to the owners, Signora Teodora's cuisine is a must-try... simple and traditional dishes, but full of passion and flavor. Signor Ferdinando is an experience not to be missed; he is the soul of the place, a sincere and kind person who makes you feel at home. It's fair to say that the place isn't for everyone... it certainly leaves no room for hypocrisy, but tells and brings to life a piece of history that has left its mark. Congratulations again and always onward!

05/01/2026: I've been to this place several times and have always been satisfied. Whether with friends or as a couple, "Alla Frasca" is always worth a visit. The meat is spectacular, whether it's the skewer or the tasting menu featuring various cuts of meat. From appetizers to desserts to wines, I've always found everything to be excellent quality in a rustic, tidy, and welcoming atmosphere. It's now one of my absolute favorite places, and I recommend it to everyone.
