17/05/2024: We had a delicious meal here for our only night in Ortigia. The fresh fish did not disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the value was incredible. I highly recommend the sashimi, fritomisto, and wine!

12/05/2024: Back then the food was disgusting, and the cover charge was too low, you had to look for everything, from water to salt, a small bottle of coke for 5 euros, in short it was a disgusting and mean restaurant.

23/04/2024: The experience was worth every penny. From the first moment you enter SESTO CANTO, you feel welcome. Sesto Canto unquestionably is THE BEST RESTAURANT IN PALERMO we visited . The food was outstanding, delicious, and beautifully served. The waiter did a fantastic job serving us. The restaurant inside looks beautiful with lots of black and white big photos/posters of American Jazz musicians, and you hear jazz in the background. To sum it up, it definitely was a big pleasure for us to dine at SESTO CANTO and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

20/04/2024: We had wanted to try Salvatore's Sicilian cuisine for a long time (the place is a 10 minute walk from our house) we had heard good things about it but the rumors don't do justice to the wonder and flavors of the dishes we tried last night. An evening where the cuisine was put to the test by the many Asian foreigners present (we are in the week of the Fuori Salone in Milan) but it was up to par and the service was impeccable for those 10 minutes of extra waiting we were warned several times and this makes it clear that there is a great sense of welcome and care towards customers. I'm not Sicilian but we've been to Sicily often and what we consumed were first choice products. Yes it is not a cheap restaurant but it is a truly excellent restaurant. We loved it and will definitely be back!

18/05/2024: As a Sicilian I tell you that this place is nothing less than a restaurant in via Libertà in Palermo (except that it is in Venice). Fabrizio and Simone were very kind and welcoming. If you are around Venice go there, forget about the Venetian specialties. Ps. The cannoli is the real one®.

18/05/2024: A Sicilian restaurant in the heart of Venice is surprising at first glance. Few dishes on the menu because everything is fresh and homemade. We particularly appreciated the mix of excellent antipasti and, for my part, a sublime carpaccio of smoked tuna with pistachio nuts with burrata and orange sauce (I was a little surprised when reading the menu but the result was excellent ). My wife loved the polpettes (dumplings) made with the recipe of the young owners' grandmother - very nice. All on a tiny street terrace full of charm (they have an indoor room too of course) and at a surprisingly very reasonable price. Absolutely recommended!

04/05/2024: Very nice environment, in my opinion a place not so suitable for families with children (soft lighting, background music etc. etc.) I would have preferred to go as a couple or just adults, however we felt pampered and served with great professionalism and kindness (yes sees that you like your job). Good and refined food always leaving Sicily as the common thread! Well done I wish you the best.

19/05/2024: Very nice and characteristic location. Welcoming, friendly and nice owners. Excellent, quality and well cooked food. Abundant and original appetizers. Special first courses based on fresh pasta (such as pasta with nettles), second courses with excellently cooked genuine meat. Finally, how can we not mention the desserts, handcrafted by the owner and truly delicious. Compliments to the owner, the chef and all the staff. Fair value for money. I really recommend it. Pretentious welcome, dishes well presented but absolutely not creative Truly anything but breathtaking We were totally disappointed, plus the next day I didn't feel well….!!!!!!!

19/05/2024: A very busy restaurant after Sunday services. Really need to book ahead. They serve meat only. They have a very good team to serve the customers. Most of the customers are Italian. They serve authentic Sicilian food. Highly recommended to tourists who have had enough of sea food.

01/05/2024: It was recommended to us by a friend, family welcome, friendly and helpful staff. We chose a land appetizer with various tastes, the hot (fried) ones were excellent but the caponata was truly exquisite. Three different first courses but none less good than the other, linguine Palermo style, strozzapreti swordfish and aubergines, panzotti stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and pistachio cream. For desserts we asked for advice, a hot cake, both with lemon and pistachio, preparation time 14 minutes, we are told, the wait was rewarded by a sublime taste and flavour. Prices normal, but the quality of the food high. I highly recommend.

18/05/2024: Quite simply the best pizza I've ever had - burrata, thin cooked ham, walnuts, pistachio, stracciatella cheese and baby tomatoes... Service indifferent, and exiled to end table as hadn't reserved (and other tables remained unfilled). However, the English menu was completely incomprehensible. Outdoor tables great for Saturday night street watching. Good value overall...

29/03/2024: The restaurant is located in the center of Marsala so it is not easy to find parking for the car nearby, but a walk can also be pleasant. I recommend booking as there are few seats. Very nice place and very, very good typical dishes. It's a shame that we weren't able to taste the desserts too, our gluttony with the first and second courses filled us up immediately. Friendly staff, helpful and good at giving advice. Definitely a destination worth revisiting
