08/05/2024: In the very center of Mantua, this little restaurant has a delightful and very quiet outdoor area in a small sheltered courtyard, which is accessed from an entrance hall. Typical menu, attentive, friendly service, perhaps the prices are a little high. But it's absolutely an asset.

05/04/2024: My wife and I came to use a wonderbox that was about to expire, fortunately the owner accepted the voucher even though she was no longer included in the wonderbox program. We ate a platter of really excellent cold cuts with fantastic onions, the wine in the glass was very good Lambrusco, then we had two risottos alla pilota and... Fantastic! I was curious to try real pilot rice, coming from the typical creamed risotto of Verona, and I was surprised at how good it was. Finally we had two really good desserts (outside the wonderbox): Belgian chocolate pudding and Elvezia cake. Both amazing, we split them up to taste them and so we finished on a high note. As you have understood, the experience was more than positive, if we pass through Mantua again we will certainly return, because the rest of the menu was very interesting and the rustic and hospitable environment was very welcoming. I highly recommend everyone to go there if you are passing through, we will certainly be back.

02/04/2024: Unfortunately, the waitress didn't feel like serving us 1 hour before closing time, even though tables were free and other people were still at Primi Piatti. We were immediately given a business card from another restaurant, even though we were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant. Very unfortunate. Ps: Restaurant of the business card was closed

30/03/2024: Location 8, small but warm and intimate. Service 10, the owner is a fantastic and knowledgeable person who loves his job. Menu 8, excellent traditional menu, beef hindquarters one of the best cuts of meat I've ever tasted, good Chinese menu but I don't love that cuisine. Count 10, excellent value for money.

04/03/2024: A unique and particular place, given the fact that you find Asian cuisine dishes together with typical Mantuan ones. The Chinese appetizers were all delicious, an explosion of flavors that you rarely find around. I also had a cacio e pepe and I must say it was done to perfection. Really pleasant discovery!

14/05/2024: The food was certainly of good quality, typical Mantuan products. Personally I found the menu a bit sparse, I couldn't find a second course that satisfied me, otherwise both starter and first course were good.

30/05/2024: Looking for a place with typical Mantuan cuisine, we were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes, not so much with the service, I had to look for someone from the staff to order, and having a small child, I asked if they could bring me the pasta first for my particularly nervous and agitated young son...answer: I can't they have more or less the same cooking times. In the end the first courses arrive first for my wife and me, and last for my son. I point out the thing and the answer: different cooking times, dry pasta takes longer. Congratulations for the reply.🤬 Eating place but not recommended for families with small children in tow and above all the liveability between one table and another is non-existent. If friends ask me, it is definitely not in the top five to recommend as a restaurant in the area.

03/04/2024: Tigelle fried dumplings and Easter Monday cured meats...commercial cured meats, good dumplings, the Tigelle were very far from what I was used to, I didn't like them. The service was poor due to the lack of staff and the restaurant was full. On the à la carte menu there are interesting dishes to try if I ever decide to return.

16/03/2024: Excellent experience, non-greasy and soft dumpling, superlative tigelle, quality cured meats. Value for money 10 out of 10 and the price was more than fair.

19/05/2024: Nice place (large with a nice covered terrace for the summer and a mezzanine area inside) in the center of Grazie. Owner and staff very kind and welcoming. Abundant food (the Mantuan appetizer is more than enough for two people). The first courses we subsequently tasted were also very good. Prices are normal. Clean and equipped toilets for people with disabilities. Recommended for those in the area to visit the Sanctuary. Reservation is also recommended.

12/05/2024: We stopped for dinner in the internal garden of this place. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I had the macaroni with stew and I really liked it, the agnolotti in broth were also good but the portion is a bit small. The value for money is good.

04/04/2024: My partner and I went here for lunch on a Thursday. The waiter gave us the à la carte menu without mentioning the fixed price menu. After hearing that there was also a minus on the day we opted for that and it was proposed and served to us without any problem. And so far not bad. At the end of lunch we went to the cash register, where the lady present rudely asked us if we were workers. Given our negative response, the same annoyed woman pointed out to us, which we don't understand, that the menu of the work day (according to her) was only for workers as they had special conventions (I don't know which ones but whatever). Annoyed, she still made us pay for the fixed price menu. Friendliness and respect for the customer were certainly not at home. Unfortunately this experience will not make us return to this place again.

02/04/2024: We had lunch on Easter Sunday, and it was a FANTASTIC experience: - kind welcome from the owner, who was able to describe each dish with care and passion - cozy environment, with few tables, but very nice and quiet, ideal for couples - first course we chose: Mantuan rice and bitter tortelli, both excellent - second course: Mantuan stew with polenta, soft and delicious - equally delicious homemade desserts VERY AFFORDABLE prices, you won't find other places in Mantua where you can enjoy excellent first courses for €9 and equally delicious second courses for €12. Tip: BOOK, there are few tables.

05/05/2024: A nice place to enjoy traditional dishes. In my opinion very strong on rice with frogs and rice with catfish. Too bad the service was a little slow, but it was compensated by the excellent cuisine. I will definitely be back to try more. Advised.
