In the very center of Mantua, this little restaurant has a delightful and very quiet outdoor area in a small sheltered courtyard, which is accessed from an entrance hall. Typical menu, attentive, friendly service, perhaps the prices are a little high. But it's absolutely an asset.

I went to this restaurant for dinner because it was recommended by the host of our b&b. The place is small but very nice and the owner is truly a great person. The food is excellent and they offer various alternatives even for those who, like me, have food intolerances (gluten and lactose). Highly recommended!

Nice little place in the center of Mantua. We had dinner, everything was normal. Good desserts. The only observation....tables too close together...

Yesterday we went to this contemporary Mantuan cuisine restaurant. Inside the environment is very beautiful, the piano, the books and the wines make a scene.
The staff is kind and helpful, before ordering they brought us a tomato sauce that they make themselves accompanied by taralli. Then we ordered as an appetizer to divide for three: the mixed cured meats accompanied by cheeses, mustard and giardiniera.
We found the appetizer very good as well as the bread and focaccia that they brought us to accompany it.
As a first course we took the pumpkin tortelli with butter and sage and we found it to be normal.
Finally, for dessert we took the black forest which we found good.

We have been frequenting Giallozucca for many years. It is our favorite restaurant in Mantua. The service is impeccable, the menu is varied and follows seasonality, the courtesy of the owners and the wide choice of wines complete everything.
Not to be missed!

Mi è piaciuto tutto: dal locale, al servizio ai piatti della tradizione ma non scontati. Conviene prenotare perchè il ristorante è piccolo.

Fantastico! Ambiente molto carino, personale super cortese e disponibile (gli ho anche chiesto la ricetta di una salsa e si sono subito informati in cucina). Piatti ottimi, sia della tradizione mantovana che vegani. I ravioli di zucca sono fantastici e anche i dolci. Super consigliato
