Sor Capanna is a historic trattoria/restaurant located in the heart of Castelgandolfo.
Its location makes it one of a kind. Added to this is the kindness and efficiency of the owner and his staff.
The pizza is excellent.
And the first courses too.
We haven't tried the rest yet but we'll be back because it's now one of our favorite places.

We had an amazing dinner here last night. It’s our first night in Castel Gandolfo and this is the first restaurant we ate in and it did not disappoint! It was recommended to us by a local friend. Really authentic and flavorful pizza and pasta. The service was also amazing! ❤️ And the atmosphere is cheerful and lively. It also has space for long table dining to meet with friends.

Original and tasty dishes, welcoming place, excellent value for money, smart staff and the owner transmits serenity with her smile.
As the icing on the cake we also received a small discount, all just a stone's throw from the papal palace.

Sono diverse volte che andiamo , locale accogliente soprattutto la sala al piano sotto, ottimo cibo fanno anche la pizza a pranzo molto buona , oggi abbiamo mangiato la polenta buonissima,veloce il servizio e tanto gentili tutti, prezzo onesto, si trova a pochi metri dalla piazza del bellissimo paese di Castel Gandolfo.
