A hidden mountaintop restaurant worth the hike to reach (you can also easily get there by car). We arrived for lunch and there was only Uncle Tom, who is a wonderful host, an exceptional cook, and a man of great spirit and kindness. When it came time to pay, there was no internet connection to pay by card, so we had to go downstairs to use a debit card. Uncle Tom was incredibly kind and had no hesitation in letting us go so he could come back to settle the bill—not a given for a restaurant owner! Everything was delicious, but I personally recommend the maltagliati with beans and guanciale—a true delicacy.

A Fiorentina steak that tasted like butter, pappardelle with wild boar ragù that had that amazing mix of goodness and game! Not to mention the exposed grill! Special treatment and pure satisfaction! Highly recommended!

The meat was exceptional, and the starters were also very well-prepared. Reasonable prices, and the restaurant is very welcoming, offering a beautiful view of the valley. Very attentive service. Highly recommended.
