Beach resort with restaurant and bar. The restaurant has an indoor dining area and a large outdoor veranda where you can enjoy dining even on the hottest days thanks to the sea breeze. The beach is wide, well-kept, and well-maintained, and the prices are average. A lovely, quiet place to spend a day at the beach. Recommended.

We went for dinner, but we go often and the quality is always the same, maybe even better each time. Tasty food and friendly, helpful staff; I recommend the lemon sorbet 💃🏻

I happily returned to Menè for lunch with my dear friend Helen, who has become a regular in the area and is a regular customer of the restaurant. Helen is American, but with an Italian heart: kind, polite, enthusiastic. She had booked in advance for the two of us, eager to spend a nice day together.
Unfortunately, when we arrived (around 2:15 pm), the welcome was anything but hospitable. My friend was asked in a rude tone what time the reservation was made, and was made to understand that "it had not been made in time", without any attempt at understanding or kindness.
At that point, seeing Helen in difficulty, I tried to intervene calmly, proposing a simple solution: we would only order quick dishes, without putting the kitchen under pressure. But the person who welcomed us, instead of managing with common sense and courtesy, became even more rigid, leaving us with a sense of bitterness that had nothing to do with the quality of the cuisine.
Because – it must be said – the food was excellent: delicious mussel sauté, very fresh seafood salad, superb scampi risotto, and perfect fried calamari and shrimp. The chef deserves compliments.
It's a shame that such a pleasant experience at the table was preceded by such a poorly managed welcome. Sometimes it really takes very little: a smile, a sincere apology, a kind phrase. And instead that little, unfortunately, was completely missing.
I hope that the waiting staff can reflect on how important it is not only what you serve, but how you serve it. Because you can be professional even under pressure. And you can always be kind.
