Ristorante Hotel da Santina In Castro dei volsci

The restaurant is well known but we only went there for some ceremonies. Instead, last week, by chance we stopped for lunch (we finally found a seat 😁) and I must say that we ate really well, like at home, which is a peculiarity that seems like nothing but is disappearing, because with the new chefs is always looking for innovation (but who wants it? ). I like the smell of a trattoria and simple dishes and we have, without a doubt, found them here. Fettuccine (handmade!) with porcini mushrooms, lamb and potatoes (like those of the past)... VERY GOOD. Then fast and friendly service. Super honest price. We will definitely be back.
