Just returned after 6 beautiful days spent like in a postcard. The location is great for hiking and is right in the valley with no cars or lights just paths grass trees and the river. We had a great time both in terms of how they welcomed us and the information on excursions to do, every day when we returned they asked us how we were and where we had been. Daily tidying of the room always clean. Exquisite dinners always different and with encores if desired. Thank you Daniele and Andrea and your family, we hope to return next summer. Keep it up, big hugs Anna and Ilaria

In the middle of nature, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast with a wide choice of very good products, both sweet and savory. The homemade jams and desserts are delicious. Dinner also offers tasty and well-made dishes. Family atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff both during room service and for advice on walking.

We have just returned from a week's holiday in this wonderful hotel, managed in a special way from every point of view. The food, the location, the staff... everything perfect! It's a corner of paradise, pure relaxation! Thanks for everything from Cristina Gianluca and Pietro.

We returned today after spending 8 wonderful days at the Fontanin hotel... we found courtesy, kindness, helpfulness and friendliness as well as professionalism!!!! I can definitely recommend it and we will definitely be back!!!!

Refuge immersed in nature where you can breathe a family atmosphere. This year we were pleased to notice that several girls and boys, including the owners' children, are part of the staff. Starting point for many excursions because we are already in the woods. The Rabbi river with its rustle makes the environment enchanting. The rooms are nice, bright and clean. The genuine and familiar cuisine reflects the goodness of the territory. The little liqueur called ambrosina sipped in the evening in the cool is worth a stay. To next year

06/01/2025: I have often gone to this place in recent months, unlike what I read in previous reviews the waiters are very attentive, kind, friendly and available for every need, making you feel at home. Furthermore, regarding the children issue, I have noticed that many times the parents who complain are the first to not be able to manage them and keep them at bay, placing the blame on the poor management of the staff (in my opinion right in time and in the organization of the service). Good cuisine with a prevalence of typical dishes and local products. Excellent contemporary style pizza with dinghy crust!
31/12/2024: We had a very good dinner! The platter with cold cuts is excellent and plentiful and the dumplings and barley soup are delicious! If you are in Predazzo it is highly recommended!

La Baita dello Speck

18/12/2024: It rarely happens but sometimes it happens: you have a desire for a specific dish and you find the chef who in all sincerity tells you: "it's a dish we used to make, but now we don't make it anymore" but if you want I'll make it for you. And so it was that we suddenly felt the need for 6 stars, a need that was further confirmed by the traditional Trentino passito wine (which enjoys the longest drying period in the world) and by the best strudel in the world
18/09/2024: We ate a pretzel with speck and hot cheese! It was SO GOOD 🤤 If you are in Canazei or even just passing through I absolutely recommend it!
